Duties :-
Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction sites.
Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes, and other regulations.
Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, representing the owner or developer.
Direct and supervise workers.
Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
Requisition supplies and materials to complete construction projects.
Prepare and submit progress and cost tracking reports.
Develop and implement quality control programs.
Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at site, to ensure proper procedures are being carried out.
Evaluate construction methods and determine cost effectiveness of plans, using computers.

Duties:-
Provide technical and administrative support to the Engineers. Promote innovation ideas, indigenous developments etc., and ensure the works are done as per specification/ relevant standards.
Ensure department’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environment standards while carrying out any activities by the section.
Ensure that construction personal exercise good housekeeping practices to keep the work site as safe and tidy as possible during/after construction.
Ensure that the contractor has accomplished all arrangement regarding safety rules and regulations and pertaining to the work on site and that all individuals on site or complying with these rules and regulation.
Plan and allocate the day to day activities of the section in line with the guideline set by the department.

Duties :-
Solve major Construction problem which is temporarily halted at various constructionsites, attend site progress meeting and arrange for necessary inspection of Architectural and Structural.
Provide technical support and advice to the operation group as required to ensure effectiveness of maintenance activities.
Prepare service network details, able to layout the foundation including levels issue site notes, solving problems at site.
Estimating for work done for Monthly billing and preparing two week ahead balance work programme.

Duties :-
Lead and controls Chargehands, Acting Chargehands& skilled labor and work crews engaged in all activities concerned with the civil works aspects of the project. Ability to optimize resources (manpower, equipment and materials) to ensure efficient and timely completion of the works.
Able to demonstrate good organizational skills, following policies, procedures and work practices. Planning minor activities, Preparing Daily, Weekly & Monthly Progress Reports.
Ability to read, interpret and follow method statements and procedures, specifications, drawings, and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation.
Develop excellent working relationships with all other department personnel.
Liaising with other discipline foremen to ensure the optimum utilization of available work, with the overall objective of successful completion of the project to ensure customers satisfaction.
Ensured that work crews are properly supplied with tools, equipment and materials.
Prevents wastage and misuse of equipment, materials and tools.
Supervises work crews & sub-contractors to best utilize manpower and materials, exercises discipline at the work site to prevent absenteeism, unsafe work practices and idleness.
Familiar with all Company safety and QA/QC procedures, regulations and strictly enforces them with the workforce under his responsibility.
