• Business Development: I create strategies for the firm for future business development by conducting research, meeting potential clients and networking on a variety of forums - online and offline
• Marketing: I direct the Marketing team and exercise different avenues to market the services of A&Z using social media and online presence, workshops & events, brochures, flyers and creating marketing content and materials for target segment
• Research: I am also part of the research team and we conduct research on various business issues in the GCC and abroad such as the “New Regulations in the Financial Markets - EMIR / Dodd Frank Act” & “Online B2B travel business and legal implications” Our research team is always up-to-date with current events in the UAE.
• Human Resource: I work as a consultant and also manage the internal HR operations of the firm, including recruitment, selection, training, assessments as well as employee engagement activities.
• Key responsibilities entailed client coordination, Secondary and primary research
• I was a member of the team for product design and concept, marketing content creation and tools.
• Normal daily activities included the gathering, analysis and synthesizing of data and research, coordination with internal and external clients.
• I accompanied managers to meetings and delivered presentations on the products and the services of the firm

• I updated the day-to-day liquidity position of the bank in money market, FX open position in FX market desks, reserve maintenance of the bank
• My tasks was to ensure compliance with the Central Bank rules and regulation at all times
• Often, I liaised with internal clients (back-office, finance department) on documentation and reconciliation
• I received exposure of Business Development working with the Treasury Sales team by booking appointments and presenting Products to potential clients.

This Placement was within the Operations Division and with the Accounts Administration and Oversight Teams.
- Main tasks assigned were to conduct statement-to-ledger control, USD back-valuation monitoring, Net Interest Income calculation, Anti-Money laundry reporting and inter-bank accounts services monitoring.
- Liaising with internal clients on issues, checks and balances.
- Daily update of accounts with the fluctuations in the exchange rate and interest rates for customers’ accounts.

Five different industries were analyzed using secondary sources of information and a trend was found with possible reasons for it taking into account external factors.
