✓ Full compliance of HR processes and records with UN/UNDP rules, regulations, policies, and strategies.
✓ Implement HR services focusing on achievement of the following results:
✓ Preparation of draft job descriptions, preparation, and dissemination of vacancy announcements, compiling matrixes,
performing functions of Secretary in interview panels.
✓ Creation/update of positions in Atlas, association of positions to chart fields (COAs), update of COA information,
perform the functions of Position Administrator, HR Administrator, and absence processor in Atlas. Preparation of
Service contracts and become knowledgeable in the preparation of FTA and TA contracts and prepare them as required.
✓ Monitor leave and attendance of staff in and out of Atlas, organize and promote the application of flexible working
arrangement for staff.
✓ Manage, maintain, and update HR and personnel records for the recruits of UNDP and other agencies administered by
UNDP in and out of Atlas mainly but not exclusively under Service Contracts.
✓ Facilitate the enrollment under health, pension, and life insurance for newly recruited Service Contract holders.
✓ Tracking of all transactions related to positions, recruitment, benefits, and separations through Atlas.
✓ Maintenance of the Country Office staffing table and generating such reports from Atlas.
✓ Collection of background information for submissions to the Compliance Review Panel (CRP) and the Career Review
Group (CRG).
✓ Maintain the Country Office rosters.
✓ Maintenance of proper filing system for HR records and documents manually and electronically.
✓ Provision of information for cost-recovery bills in Atlas for HR services provided by UNDP to other Agencies.
✓ Assist in the administration of the UN Proficiency examinations for UNDP and all UN agencies and project staff twice a
year.
✓ Assist UNV Programme Officer in personnel related matters to maintain all UNV personnel files.
✓ Process the renewal of LPs, Family Certificates, Extension letters, etc., and ensure completeness and appropriateness
of documentation to process entitlements.
✓ Participation in the trainings for the operations/projects staff on HR.
✓ In close consultation with the Talent Development Manager, ensure proper management and monitoring of the internship programme through updating roaster, responding to queries, preparing contracts, follow up on reports.

Assists recruitment officer in the day-to-day operation of recruitment services and activities as follows.
Is responsible to maintain the Microfinance department staffing table.
In coordination with CFMP and AO, and with collaboration with MD HASS, ensures that all Department
staffing requirements are fully met, on different contract modalities.
Coordinates with CFMP on recruitment plans, ensuring that concerned parties agree on timelines and that recruitment
are carried out within the overall recruitment plan.
Where applicable, drafts and issues vacancy announcements in coordination with AO/CFMP/JFO recruitment.
Reviews and screens applications against established post criteria; assists in the determination of candidates'
qualifications and experience to facilitate selection of shortlists; collaborates with JFO Recruitment Officer, for final shortlists validation; helps/advises on any issues requiring further consideration or discussion before the shortlist is finalized.
Coordinates and oversees arrangements for the administration of tests and schedules for telephone and / or personal interviews for the short-listed candidates (where applicable).
Participates in the recruitment process for every recruitment process initiated at the Microfinance Department, participates in interview boards as required; maintains and monitors rosters for crucial posts for all contract modalities applicable at MD.
In coordination with AO, follows on the appointment procedures of recommended personnel.
Coordinates with JFO HR on final tranches list, written exams and interview board settings.
Prepares and updates the recruitment reports and rosters on a regular basis to include planned tests and interviews,
establishment of incumbent profiles, analyses of statistical information and establishment of shortlists.
Contacts applicants and candidates, responds to queries, and arranges appointments for interview boards and tests.
Updates status of open recruitment processes and expected finalization date.
Follows on the periodic performance evaluations for MD staff.
Monitors and overseas new staff induction plans and prepare update report on status.
In coordination with CFMP and AO, prepares the annual staff training plans.
Performs such other duties as may be assigned.
