Company owned one tanker and is engaged in long term and voyage chartering of LPG /Oil tanker, loading LPG, Fuel Oil/Gas Oil from Mediterranean /Persian Gulf /UAE and discharging in Red Sea ports.
Job Profile
Vessel Operations
Responsible for all ships operations activities which includes but not limited to
•Direct monitoring vessel loading /discharging operations and make sure operations are in line with charter’s party
•Follow up with Vitol, Trafigura and other supplier for cargo specification required at discharge port and appoint surveyor for cargo sampling before and after loading from shore tanks
•Vessel clearance from FOTT
•Monitor cargo operation of CFR deliveries
•Appointment of STS provider for cargo loading through STS (at Suez, Fujairah, Sohar, Mediterranean sea)
•Preparation of BL and get approval from owners and take necessary action in case BL to be switched as per charterer’s requirement
•Ensuring correct procedures on Bill of Lading and issuance of LOI for allowing vessel to discharge without presenting original BL
•Appointment of quality and quantity surveyor and follow up for report and make sure quality report meet the agreed specification of cargo loaded
•Appoint Agents and Approve Preliminary Disbursement Accounts (PDA) and Final Disbursement Accounts (FDA) and follow up with accounts for timely payment
•Monitor Fuel Oil consumption of all fleet and keep eye on ROB
•Bunker supply planning and supply of bunker through most economical way
•To make sure bunker sample is dispatched to assigned lab by owners
•Preparing monthly report of all loading and discharging and disputes
•Obtaining UN approval for the vessel assigned to discharge in WAR Zone UN control territory i.e Hodeida - Yemen
•Co-ordination with owners for boarding armguard team
•Arrange for Insurance, AWRP and armed guards as per voyage requirements
•Arrange for insurance (H&M, P&I) of the ships and ensure that they are always valid
•Maintain communication with vessel’s master and provide necessary support in line with operations.
•Liaising with Chartering team for vessel planning, pre fixture, and bunker purchase
•Monitor vessel daily movement
•Demurrage claim calculation as per agreed laytime in C/P and submit to charters/Owners/cargo receiver for payment
