• Improve and implement company's Health, Safety and Environment program and enhance its effectiveness by adopting the best industrial practices and technology, improving business process know how and utilize skills of the resources deployed.
• Demonstrate high degree of professional skills in meeting Health, Safety and Environmental objectives.
• Continually improving HSE standard which facilitate the management in business acquisition and client handling.
• Promote and coordinate the integration of environmental management and sustainability issues into policies, rules, products, services and operations.
• Conduct HSE audits of Project Site and follow up for the closeout to verify compliance, and advise concerned to improve the weaknesses observed.
• Facilitate establishments in developing emergency response plans in order to deal with work and infrastructure related emergencies and to monitor that drills are conducted regularly to verify preparedness of workforce to recover from such situations within the shortest possible time.
• Develop and review HSE training material for project management team first line supervisors and workers.
• Recommend improvements to HSE system and direct the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of HSE activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality service to clients and employees.
• Accountable to create a safe working environment, manage risks, reduce exposure to hazardous liability and ensure implementation of HSE policy.
• Review contractors method statement, Risk assessment & JSA’s and recommend if any changes and correction required
• Monitors performance of Risk Management process to ensure risks are within ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) level
• Monitoring and control safety procedures with in the area of responsibilities and confirming to HSE standards and guidelines set by the ministry.
• Ensure worksite statistical data & HSE Key Performance Indicators are maintained properly.
• Monitoring the behavior of the people and provide coaching to change the attitude and behavior positively towards working safely and instills “think before acting” and “value of human life”.

• Implementation of the consultancy corporate HSE management system for the work site. • Promotion of safety awareness of professional workforce at all levels through pro-active attitude within the Project Team and Contractors. • Evaluates & monitors site working conditions applicable to the construction works. • Attends & conducts regular meetings with THE PROJECT & with Contractors representatives to discuss and agree safety standards, concerns & potential hazards. • Ensure that risk assessment is performed before each potentially dangerous activity. • Participate in and organize Job Safety Analysis with Contractors & request new JSA if necessary. • Perform regular Safety Compliance Inspections and audit of Contractors to ensure implementation of safe working procedures & best practices. • Conduct and participate in Safety Training of THE PROJECT & Contractor personnel as required. • Oversight of the implementation of the PTW system when required. • Assists in the investigation of accidents & incidents to determine the underlying causes of the accidents/injuries. • Consolidates monthly accidents/man-hour statistics for the Region and reports collected information to corporate HSE. • Assist to develop HSE Plans and procedures and ensures compliance with company standards / local government regulations. • Ensure that all safety staff portrays, the Projects need as “Safety is a value, more than only a Priority” • Monitoring the behavior of the people and provide coaching to change the attitude and behavior positively towards working safely and instills “think before acting” and “value of human life”. • Ensure worksite statistical data & HSE Key Performance Indicators are maintained properly. • Review contractors method statement, Risk assessment & JSA’s and recommend if any changes and correction required • Monitors performance of Risk Management process to ensure risks are within ALARP (As Low As Reasonably Practicable) level • Monitoring and control safety procedures with in the area of responsibilities and confirming to HSE standards and guidelines set by the ministry.

• Monitoring all safety issues on plant & site to prevent and stop dangerous work practices.
• Ensuring all near misses is reported and preventive measures are taken.
• Co-ordination of all temporary works, implementation of safe system of works.
• Ensuring the effective implementation of HSE Management procedures.
• Ensuring Field operatives are aware of risks and hazards.
• Participate in the development of safety training programs.
• Issuing of company safety notices.
• Review and update permit to work system (PTW), provide the technical training and authorization for different disciplines.
• Plan & perform the periodical HSE internal auditing to determine minor non conformance points for SHARQ Standards, permit to work system & corrective action to be taken.
• Prepare High Learning Value from Incidents (HLVI) and present to employees.
• Sharing in accident investigation and reporting of different incidents and accidents to prevent recurrence of it and communicate the learning lessons based on determination of direct, indirect causes as well as the root causes and provide the suitable recommendations to prevent its recurrence.
• Ensure and support Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments, PSSR, PHA and Shutdown activity for all plants.
• Supporting management in solving all problems related to Health, Safety and Environment.
• Participate in the HSE emergency response program and drills.
• Supervise, coordinate and monitor the plant HSE program, provide special advice and assistance on safety aspects to plant departments.

•Assists to develop HSE Plans and procedures and ensures compliance with company standards / local government regulations.
•Assists to develop, prepare and administers to complete HSE Key Performance Indicators for the Facility.
•Develops periodical HSE reports as required.
•Liaises with HSE Manager, colleagues and local HSE bodies to resolve issues.
•Compiles and manages the Safety and Environment documentation in accordance with applicable Safety and Environment standards & legislation.
•Monitors improvements through the preparation and implementation of HSE Audits and Inspections.
•Assists in the investigation of accidents and analysis of accident statistics in order to identify trends and propose the necessary corrective measures.
•Consolidates monthly accidents/man-hour statistics for the Region and reports collected information to corporate HSE.
•Maintenance of all Life Saving Equipment’s & Safety Equipment’s and monitor production activities on site are carried out in a safe manner and in adherence to the Company Safety policy.
•Promotes safety awareness to the workforce through HSE meetings, trainings safety committee and safety representatives. Monitors HSE systems within the company.
