Duties & Responsibilities:
• Working as Consultant’s Senior Electrical Engineer in Engineering Design Team and LEAD-Electrical Engineer in PMCM Team. and playing key role as an In charge of Electrical discipline on behalf of Client for Design package, Engineering, Procurement, Construction supervision.
Engineering & Design Assignment:
• Responsibility of design activities of electrical systems, (11kv/0.4kv)- substation, LV Power distribution network, power, lighting, emergency lighting, central battery systems, lighting control, earthing, lightning protection, and review the design of specialist (ELV, Telecom, security, FA, BMS) and required services as assigned.
• Representing design team in meeting with client representative and relevant stake holders to finalize the project requirement, work progress and output compliance to meet project objective.
Project Management & Construction Supervision Assignment:
• Proving technical input and expertise in development of Contract, Procurement Procedure adopting suitable strategy and policies.
• Monitoring the consultants and contractor’s activities to ensure the completion of project within budget, and according to Contract documents (Agreement, technical Project specification, B.O.Q), engineering design, all qualities, HSE, ISM, Local Authority requirement and Closeout of project on scheduled time.
• Reply to contractor's RFI.
• Review contractor’s construction program.
• Review & approving the CV and qualification of contractor’s staff..
• Review & approving the contractor’s Electrical shop drawing ensuring all design, required ISM & local regulation and have been coordinated.
• Review & approving the Technical submittal of Electrical materials & equipments. Electrical method statement.
• Approving the requisite prequalification of Subcontractor & Suppliers.
• Interaction with local licensing Authorities for approval.
• Working as Client’s representative for witnessing of FAT, Testing & Commissioning of various electrical system & plant, electrical Machines/Equipments/ Switch Gears (MV/ LV), Control Panels (MV/LV), U/G-Cable (MV/LV), etc.
• Monitoring the site work progress, work inspection and providing technical guideline to electrical & Mechanical site inspector to conduct the inspection of executed site work ensuring the activity is done as per approved Shop drawing, Method Statement (MS), Quality control procedure (QCP), Inspection & Testing Plan (ITP).
• Monitoring the “Testing & commissioning activities”.
• Verification of specific Test reports with independent Testing laboratory as per ITP.
• Attending the project meeting (weekly Technical meeting, weekly Project Quality Meeting, monthly Progress meeting, Management meeting) with Client and contractor and Providing /proposing the technical and contractual solution for outstanding and disputed issues.
• Attending meeting with Project Interface, Local Authority, Testing & Commissioning, Project handover process, stake holders.
• Monitoring the contractor’s weekly/monthly look ahead program of site work progress.
• Assisting project manager (Client)/ Sr. Resident Engineer/ Chief Resident Engineer for preparation of project report (Executive report, monthly progress report) for submission to client.
• Reviewing the contractor’s monthly payment certificate, work variation, monthly work progress report
• Reviewing & approving “Red Line Drawing”, “As Built drawings”, “Operational & Maintenance Manuals”, “Testing & Commissioning Submittal”
• Verification for Issuance of “Hand over Certificate” for contractor’s work completion.
• Responsibility of all the assigned project Supervision tasks of contractor for completeness, Planning, Scheduling, Meeting & instant resolution of dispute if any and updating to Sr. Resident Engineer/ Project Director..

• Working as Consultant’s Senior Electro-mechanical Engineer /Clients’s MEP Manager in PMCM Team. and playing key role as an In charge of Electrical discipline for Design package review, Engineering, Procurement, Construction supervision of multiple project packages.
• Proving technical input and expertise in development of Contract, Procurement Procedure adopting suitable strategy and policies, Interface module within various packages.
• Monitoring the consultants and contractor’s activities to ensure the completion of project within budget, and according to Contract documents (Agreement, technical Project specification, B.O.Q), engineering design, all qualities, HSE, ISM, Local Authority requirement and Closeout of project on scheduled time
• Detailed study of Project Contract document, Design drawing, Specification, B.O.Q. and updating to Designer for any discrepancy/ missing detail, information in design drawing and specification.
• Review & rectification of any point of contractor’s construction program and verification as per Project Planning Schedule.
• Review & approving the CV and qualification of contractor’s staff ensuring the requisite standard of project personnel.
• Review & approving the contractor’s Electrical shop drawing ensuring accordance to design, all required ISM & local regulation and have been coordinated with all the relevant services for work execution.
• Review & approving the Technical submittal of Electrical materials & equipments. Electrical method statement.
• Approving the requisite prequalification of Subcontractor & Suppliers.
• Interaction with local licensing Authorities(KAHRAMAA, Ashghal, Q-Tel, Civil Defense, ...) for coordination and approval.
• Clarification of contractor’s technical queries / RFI.
• Working as Client’s representative for witnessing of FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test), Testing & Commissioning of various electrical system & plant, electrical Machines/Equipments/ Switch Gears (MV/ LV), Control Panels(MV/LV), U/G-Cable(MV/LV), etc.
• Monitoring the site work progress, work inspection and providing technical feedback/guideline to electrical & Mechanical site inspector to conduct the inspection of executed site work ensuring the activity is done as per approved Shop drawing, Method Statement (MS), Quality control procedure (QCP), Inspection & Testing Plan(ITP).

• Supervise/monitor the Contractor & Subcontractor for execution of overall electrical/MEP site works to ensure the completion of project within budget, and according to Contract documents (Agreement, technical specification, B.O.Q), engineering design, all qualities, HSE, ISM and Closeout of project on scheduled time.
• Detailed study of Project Contract document, Design drawing, Specification, B.O.Q. and updating to Design team for any discrepancy/ missing detail, information in design drawing and specification.

• Monitoring the contractor’s weekly/monthly look ahead program of site work progress.
• Assisting project manager for preparation of project report(Executive and monthly progress report) for submission to client.
• Responsibility of all the assigned project site tasks of contractor for completeness, Planning, Scheduling, Meeting & instant resolution of dispute if any and updating to Project Manager.

•Working as a MEP Project manager and in-charge of overall MEP Project works to ensure successful completion of project on scheduled time, within budget, and according to Contract documents(Agreement, technical specification, B.O.Q), engineering design and handover of project to Client as per planned construction program & project milestone.
•Responsibility of all contractual issue related to project operation.
•Raising the RFI & technical query to Consultant/ client for clarification if any.
•Scheduling & Planning in coordination with planning engineer for all project activities & Manpower Histogram, material procurement plan in line with Base line construction program
•Ensuring the timely submittal and obtaining approval of all project submittals (Project Construction program & schedule, Shop drawing, material submittal, sample, design details, work method statement, Operation & Maintenance Manual, pre-qualification of Sub contractor, suppliers /vendors, Third party).
•Planning and timely processing to obtain the clearance, approval, permission, etc as required from statutory authorities during execution of project
•Planning & scheduling (mobilization & demobilization) of project resources (Material, Manpower, Equipment, etc.).
•Deciding all project requirements (Technical, General)
•Direct supervision of site work & monitoring the sub contractor’s work as per planned construction program & milestone.
•Responsibility of all day to day activities & meeting with Project team.
•Ensuring the required all quality, HSE and ISM.
•Preparation of work variation, monthly Invoice and Claim.
•Approving the invoice of Sub-contractor/ Vendor. .
meeting with client, consultant, main contractor, vendor related to project progress.
•Preparation of Daily, Monthly Project progress report.
•Responsibility of all the assigned tasks for completeness, Planning, Scheduling, Meeting & instant resolution of dispute if any and updating to Project Director.

Direct Project work supervision & monitoring the sub contractor’s activity of entire Electrical System (HV/ LV/ ELV).
Comprehensive Study of the Project Contract, Tender Drawings and the Specification.
 Raising the RFI for clarification & technical queries from consultant
 Preparing Shop Drawings, Technical Submittals, Method Statements.
 Material Qty Take Off for entire electrical system (HV, LV, ELV).
 Floating enquiries to various vendors for quotations, Follow ups for quotes of various materials/ products and replying to vendor clarification.
 Preparing Labor Force Required.
 Preparing Monthly B.O.Q for the sub-contractor and QS Engineer.
 Submitting Variations of work & getting approved by the consultant.
 Coordination and follow-up with suppliers, subcontractors for their activities and deliverables.
 Coordination with logistic coordinator for all project material & equipment mobilization.
 Liaison with client, Consultant, main Contractor, Third Parties during project execution for deliverables & follow-ups.
 Interaction with project team members on day to day basis.
 Interaction with in house departments (QA/QC, QS, Material purchasing, Commercial).
 Coordination with all disciplines (Elec/Mech-HVAC, Chilled water /Plumbing/Fire Fighting/Civil/ID)
 Ensuring all the quality, HSE and ISM requirements are defined and communicated to all concerned for the implementation.
Approval of assigned work from related licensing Authority (DEWA/DCA).
 Monitor the project work progress, the short falls & the critical issues of the project & report to Project Manager.
 Responsibility of all the assigned tasks for completeness, project Planning, Scheduling, meeting & instant resolution of dispute if any and updating to Project Manager.
Over all Electrical Site work Supervision, Installation, Testing & Commissioning, hand over of project.

 Design, Cost effective estimation, Planning, Supervision & close monitoring of electrical work of entire project.
 Working as a Team leader of Engineers and project personel.
 Involvement in tendering, reviewing the major project contract(s) basis including scope of work, scope of facilities and applicable liability for various contracts, development and/or amends scope of works, scope of services and any other documentation to fulfill discipline project requirements, reviewing/incorporation of vendor documentation.
 Interaction with the client, Consultant, Main Contractor, supplier, subcontractors, third parties on requirement basis for the assigned projects.
 Responsible to Project Manager, on all the tasks, assigned for completeness, Project Planning, Scheduling & meeting.
 Approval of assigned work from corresponding licensing Authority (SEC).

Duties & Responsibilities:
Design & Engineering:
• Design of 66/33kv OHL transmission, 11/6.6kv/400v electrical distribution system and 66/33/11kv Sub Station including calculation and drawing.
• Preparation of Equipment layout, Duct Bank layout, Cable routing, Cable tray layout, Earthing layout, Lighting and small power layout, Single line diagram, Schematic, HV/LV Control circuit diagram, Cable Schedules, HV/LV Cable sizing, Wiring/termination diagram, Battery sizing, DC & AC- UPS system configuration, Construction scope, Review of vendor electrical drawings.
• Coordination with Engineers of contractor/Sub Contractors/ Vendors. Technical documents approval from Govt. licensing Body (State Electricity Board, Local Authority) for development of proposed project.
Project Management:
• Preparation & submission of all required project documentations of assigned activities to Project Manager for approval, prior to submission to the client, Consultant, subcontractor, supplier or in house other departments / sections.
• Direct supervision of Site works and Monitoring of Sub Contractor work.
• Interaction with all relevant Disciplines(Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) and Govt. departments(Surface State Transport Corporation, National Highway Authority, Water Supply & Drainage Authority, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, National Thermal Power Corporation of India, State Electricity Board, Telecommunication Authority, Public Work Department).
• Interaction with the Client, Consultant, Main Contractor, supplier, subcontractors, third parties on requirement basis for the assigned project.
• Ensuring the required all quality, HSE and ISM.
• Review & approving the invoices of Sub contractor, supplier.
• Approval of assigned work from corresponding licensing Authority (WBSEB).
