Leidos Innovations Center (LInC) as the technology-driven core of their business they continue their tradition of solving the toughest scientific and engineering problems for customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Making certain that the text is well written, logically structured, and is in the appropriate style for the intended audience.
- Correcting any typographical and/or mechanical mistakes in the text.
- Ensuring that the list of acronyms corresponds to their occurrence in the text.
- Ensuring that footnotes are consistently numbered, positioned, and formatted correctly.
- Ensuring consistent and accurate use of terminology, error-free text in terms of context, correct grammar, and spelling, and that the text adheres to the Leidos Ops & Style Guide.
- Verifying facts and sources to ensure that all references and sources are specified accurately and consistently.
- Checking that photos, figures, charts, graphs, boxes, and tables are properly identified and cross-referenced in the text, and that data from them is accurately reflected in the document.
- Making certain that the formatting is consistent.
