◇ Position Purpose
- Responsible, in cooperation with department directors, to identify and evaluate areas for improvement, and to develop programs to ensure optimum provision of operational services, including development of policies for approval by the hospital executive committee.
- To plan and direct operational services to achieve the goals and objectives of the Hospital Programs.

◇ Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Review and advice on all operations policies and ensure these are in line with the current hospital legislation and govemomental laws.
• Ensures financial targets and other agreed targets are met in all departments.
• Reviews working practices to ascertain if it is successful and if not, develop an alternatives.
• Makes sure operational safety regulations are followed.
• Develops and organizes appropriate training programs.
