Organ Transplantation Experience:

I was involved in the management of liver transplantation patients, and assisted in over 170 Living related liver transplantation (LRLT) at the National Liver Institute, University of Minoufiya and over 70 cases at the department of liver surgery and transplantion Dar El Foad (DAF) Hospital (6th of October city)

General Surgery Experience

I spent ten years training in surgery. I rotated between colorectal, Accident and Emergency & upper GI Surgery. I am confident in emergency laparotomy and most of the general surgical emergencies.
The unit of Hepatobiliary surgery is linked to the Transplant unit. Over 160 liver resections and 40 biliary surgery cases are performed annually, in addition to Laparoscopic surgery.
Assisted in Hepatobiliary procedures including liver resection, bile duct excision and biliary reconstruction. Performed laparotomy for peritonitis, haemorrhage and bowel obstruction, laparoscopic Cholecystectomy, most types of Hernia Repair and major wound dehiscence.
