• Strictly implement the Company’s and Client’s HSEMS and project-specific requirements.
• Develop, review, and implement project-specific HSE policies, plans, and procedures to ensure compliance with the SA standards and applicable regulations.
• Set HSE objectives and key performance targets, and formulate action plans to achieve these goals aligned with SA’s project expectations.
• Monitor, track, and report leading and lagging KPIs to assess continuous HSE performance improvement.
• Conduct and review HIRA and implement CAPA to control project risks effectively.
• Supervise, coach, and guide the HSE team, enhancing their professional development and maintaining Aramco’s high HSE standards.
• Prepare and maintain HSE training matrices and annual training plans, and conduct scheduled HSE
inductions, awareness sessions, and specialised training.
• Inspect hazardous areas, equipment, activities, and materials to identify unsafe conditions and implement immediate and long-term risk mitigation strategies.
• Investigate near-misses, incidents, and accidents, perform RCA and submit reports.
• Conduct internal HSE audits, compliance inspections, and gap analyses, and actively participate in SA audits, walkthroughs, and inspections.
• Participate in HSE Committee meetings, Management Review Meetings, and other project meetings.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi Aramco HSE standards, applicable local laws, and client contractual requirements.
• Develop and implement an ERP specific to project risks and conduct periodic mock drills.
• Monitor and evaluate HSE performance of contractors and suppliers to ensure alignment with SA expectations.
• Lead HSE promotional activities, awareness campaigns, and deliver motivational programs to instill a proactive HSE culture at the project site.
• Ensure provision and maintenance of welfare facilities, 100% compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage, and strict Permit to Work (PTW) system implementation for all critical activities.
• Coordinate and liaise effectively with internal departments, contractors, Aramco Loss Prevention Engineers (LPE), and other external stakeholders on all HSE matters.
• Stay updated with legal, client, and other regulatory requirements, and incorporate relevant updates into the project’s HSE Management System
• Provide expert advice, information, and instructions on HSE matters across all levels of site personnel.
• Prepare comprehensive HSE performance reports, including statistical analysis and trend monitoring, and present findings to senior management and the SA representative
• Record, maintain, and compile HSE documentation and records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date filing in compliance with project and client requirements
