Areas of responsibility:
Responsible for Implementing, Supporting & Maintaining IT Physical & Virtual Infrastructure. Perform day to day Administration of the systems as per IT Policies & Procedures. Responsible for Preparing and Apply Security Baselines on All Servers (Windows / LINUX) to eradicate all security Threats. Providing Solutions for escalated issues through service desk.
In addition to this to work on research, design & Implementation of Secure Technical Infrastructure requirements under various projects.
Maintenance of IT Infrastructure:
- Upkeep of IT physical & Virtual IT Infrastructure.
-Applying Security Baselines / Patch Management.
- Monitor, Maintain, test & troubleshoot IT systems to achieve highest possible level of system
Up-time.
- Maintenance of IT Disaster Recovery site infrastructure & participate in periodic DR plan.
- Periodic upkeep & record of data center facilities management.
- Evaluate, install & maintain record of new releases, system upgrades, patches & resolve related
Issues.
- Maintain & update records of IT Infrastructure assets & keep track of configuration under service desk CMBD.
Administration Tasks:
- Analyse IT system components, resource requirements & maintain system security best practices.
- Performing all tasks on time & completion as per laid out IT / IS procedures.
- Actively collaborate in debugging & resolving IT incidents, involing other administrative areas of system, applications, networks etc.
- Conduct Capacity Management & Implementing of Infrastructure systems as per needs.
- Actively research ways to upgrade and improve IT infrastructure as per laid out capacity plan.
- Conduct software and hardware evaluations and provide technical analysis of IT Infrastructure Under feasibility study.
- Responsible for handling customers with queries regarding Windows Operating System and its supported applications.
