•Planned and executed annual audit programs and monitored internal control systems to assess the effectiveness of controls, the efficiency of operations and the accuracy of documents, contracts and financial records.
•Prepared the department's provisional budget and assisted in the preparation of year-end financial reports. Drafted periodic audit reports and participated in the reporting functions for the audit committee.
•Audited records of departments and examined activities for compliance with Central Bank regulations. Ensured proper recording of transactions to safeguard against money laundering activities and participated in relevant investigations as directed by senior management.
