1. Operational management: organising stock and equipment, ordering supplies and
overseeing building maintenance, cleanliness and security;
2. People management: training and developing existing staff, motivating and
encouraging staff to achieve targets, coordinating staff scheduling and rotas;
3. Working to ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the restaurant
complies with health and safety regulations;
4. Ensuring high standards of customer service are maintained;
5. Implementing, and instilling in their teams, company policies, procedures, ethics, etc.
6. Handling customer complaints and queries;
7. Implementing branded promotional campaigns from head office, including the
handling of point of sale promotional materials, or devising your own promotional
campaigns;
8. Preparing reports and other performance analysis documentation;
9. Reporting to and attending regular meetings with managers and area manager or head
office representatives;
Job Responsibilities
Market Research: Get information about customers demand and
interest and assessing competitive activities.
Communication: Informing senior officials regarding the market position and prices,
and up sailing.
Promotion: Design promotional mix that will accelerate the sales by pulling more
customers.
