Responsibilities at KEO International Consultants:
•Maintain Quality of work as per QCS & Specification.
•Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
•Performing indoor and outdoor Site inspections.
•Perform Inspections as per Approved Documents Such as ITP-Inspection test plans, Method statements, Material submittals, Drawing & as per Project Specification.
•Reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and reviewing all the Project documents, Material submittals, Method statements, ITP, RFI, WIR, MIR.
•Preparing NCR & SOR for any activity which has poor workmanship, defective material & if not as per project requirements.
•Reporting any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
•A strong background in QAQC inspections and defects/punch list close out on projects that have completed or are near completion.
•Monitoring quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
•Good knowledge in Architectural & Civil works, procedures and standards.
•Maintaining records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
•Excellent working capabilities to represent the Compliance Inspection team and managing the works within the parameters established.
•Overseeing the performance of the inspection team in testing and inspections (testing, final inspections, close out and handover).
•Working autonomously on their own or as part of a team, as an inspector work remotely and visit properties and carry out inspections.
•Providing technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.
•Good knowledge in Architectural & Civil works, procedures, and standards.
•Visit for Mock-up Inspections/Handling Multiple Inspections in parallel.
•Executing work at Site as per Approved Drawings and documents.
•Executing Maintenance Work at site.
Responsibilities at Al Darwish Eng.
Experience in Building and Road Projects.
•Maintain Quality of work as per QCS & Specification.
•Prepares inspection requests (WIR), (MIR) & method statement, inspection test plans (ITP) & other quality related reports /documents of every activity and monitor accomplishments.
•Involvement where required in work inspections or material inspections.
•Raising NCR & SOR for any activity which has poor workmanship, defective material, not as per drawings & MES.
•Attend/Witness for Concrete Trail Mix at Ready Mix Plant, Factory Visits and Mock-up inspections.
•Ensure the Quality of Material before it is to be used on the site for all the structural & Architectural Materials as per project specifications.
•Maintaining all project records, drawing logs, submittals, samples, NCRs, MIRs, WIRs, RFIs and all other correspondence of project in soft and hard form.
•Carrying out site inspection tests to check the quality, and standards conformance with the approved method statements.
•Checking and closing the Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Job Site Instructions (JSIs) after rectifying the issues on site, writing official letters to the management, and Request for Information (RFIs) to consultants, regarding the information or suggestions for critical works.
•Study, understand and comprehend project specifications, IFC drawings, contract documents.
•Responsible for preparation of Project quality plan, general quality control procedure, inspection test plan (ITP) and update of project quality objectives, method statements, RFI and technical query.
•Coordinate the document controls of technical submittals, drawings etc. with the Project Team and to ensure that the QA/QC validation has been done.
•Preparation of Daily Activity Reports.
•Responsible for issuing of internal NCR.
•Taking corrective and preventive action and closing of NCRs from consultants.
•Responsible for all testing from third party testing lab.
•Ensuring that all project related documents are approved.
•Reviewing Project specifications, Procedures, Method statements, ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
•Coordination with the Independent Testing Laboratory in performing necessary tests and reviewing all the tests results.
