Job description
Managing Projects department and setting up Projects Strategy complying with Company Strategies and Governance
INTEGRATION MANAGEMENT
- Set-up project management plan (incl strategy) adapted to Multi-Unit and Complex environment
- Manage the changes and adapt the objectives & strategy accordingly
- Address project management issues (roadblocks, performance, . etc...)
- Contribute significantly to project management process improvements and delivery
SCOPE MANAGEMENT
- Manage the entire project scope of work
- Analyse Customer requirements.
- Propose solutions to reduce those gaps and lead the relevant negotiations,
TIME MANAGEMENT
- Responsible for delivering the project on time, based on Multi-Units schedules
- Produce and updates list of key milestones
- Anticipate on-time delivery issues (documents, services, equipment's)
- Measure project progress and anticipate actions
COST MANAGEMENT
- Take responsibility for the gross margin of the overall project
- Foresee costs & margins at completion
- Develop costs and revenue recovery plans
COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT
- Responsible for all aspects of communication within the project
- Ensure Customer satisfaction through effective and healthy communication
- Provide reporting to customer & management
- Manage and optimize multicultural / multi-location teams
- Coach & give feedback in a multicultural environment
RISK & OPPORTUNITY MANAGEMENT
- Identify and implement risk mitigation plans
- Identify Business / Unit / multi-projects risks and opportunities
CONTRACT & SUPPLIERS MANAGEMENT
- Engaged in all aspects of contract management with the Customer, suppliers and partners for the overall project(s)
- Ensure full understanding of the Contractual requirements by project team
- Support procurement in supplier relationship, delivery & conflict management.
Key Achievements:
• Establish Service Delivery, and Projects Department, which achieved so far many successful projects with more than $200 million.
• Contribute to company strategy and transformation application
• Establish logistic departments and supervise overall activity
• Contribute to Company departments setup include; Administrations, Logistic and Operation and Implementation
• Create work methodologies and identify work flow and processes
• Contribute greatly with company brand image creation
• Run Projects with Tier-1 operators such as Mobily and STC
• Dealing and run projects with global telecom vendors such as Ericsson, Huawei, Samsung and ZTE
• Handle Large scale Networks Operation that contribute on telecom revolutions on national scale in Saudi Arabia
• Always committed to KPI’s/SLA with more than 95% achievements
- Set project plan and time frame
- Plan for project budget and resource requirements
- Roll-out project implementation activates
- Report project progress and milestones for project parties
- Propose procedures and prices for implantation and project part in the RFQ/RFP.
- Follow up with logistic team in Equipment request and delivery.
- Manage operations team and operation activity for Mobily PMP network over kingdom to keep the network working and running on optimized status

My Role:
- Coordinate with Ericsson for all work activities and update him by daily progress report.
- Set schedule for all our work and follow up with all teams in order to finish work according to the schedule which include:
* installation
* commissioning
* cut over.
- I work in Bayanat-Samsung WiMax Project in the following positions:
- Management Role:
• Make report for project progress and milestones.
• Organize internal activates for all departments engaged in the project from our side, and set time frame for each activates.
- Technical Role:
• Radio Planning: Experience in site selection, site survey, frequency planning, antenna selection and coordinate with Samsung RF department.
• Microwave commissioning
• Making MUX plan for network elements (RAS; Neara IDU and Cisco switch)
• Making PAT folder and sites handover.
• Throughput test using FLUKE Networks Equipments.
- GSM Indoor site for STC.
• Making complete proposal for indoor site contain antennas distribution; RF cables type; selection of system components
• Making complete detailed power calculations and check validity of the design and maximum allowed path loss calculations for Uplink and downlink.
I worked in Advanced Communication Company ACC (Subcontract for Fastlink) in GSM and GPRS Networks.
