- Manage and direct the supervision team to undertake day to day inspections of the works.
- Maintain a very high level of Safety awareness and ensure the sub-contractors complies with their obligations.
- Capability of administering the FIDIC based contract or standalone Contracts
- Presents progress and package progress meetings.
- Discuss changes to the scope of work with the consultant and key subcontractors.
- Responsible for following up on instructions & commitments associated with the project
- Establishes Project Execution Plan, Health & Safety Plan, Quality Control Plan and other documents in relation to

The High Rise project involves construction of a medical city offering 1000 beds and covering an area of 2 million square meters. The project including a General Hospital with all needed facilities, in addition to Cardiology Center, Eye Hospital, General Laboratory and a Physiotherapy Center, Cancer Center, Neurology Center as well as the services building.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project & Communication Management:
• Manage and coordinate all communications & security activities to ensure projects are executed in a quality, safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manners and provide clear reports to project management.
• Ensure the project conforms to the client’s approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements based on standard communications & security strategies and techniques.
• Managed, Supervised and coordinated with supervision consultant, main contractor.
•Setting development and performance goals for the operations team.
•Leading the Construction team to achieve Time, Productivity rates, Quality and Safety constraints.
•Integrating of the project specification, drawing/ shop drawings, projects requirement.

Time & Cost Control Management:
• Monitors progress against the approved works program, and the contractor's weekly/ monthly forecasts.
• Report on the reasons for slippage against agreed targets.

The $25-million project involved civil and electromechanical work for a 5-storey building, with each floor area approximately 5, 350 SM and basement with retaining of 5m high and 230 linear meters and an area of 900 SM; complete building cladding with 8, 000 SM; pre-cast panels; aluminum curtain walls 6, 650 SM; marble flooring 7, 500 SM; stone veneer wall cladding 850 SM; ceramic to wet areas 4, 000 SM; gypsum board wall partitions 7, 600 SM and Ceiling 6, 800 SM; and acoustical ceiling 16, 000 SM. The project also contained ancillary buildings such as water tank and pump room 850 SM; security and ancillary building; office and gymnasium building; general storage building; car wash and services building; detention building; substation building guard gate house and guard rooms; percolation pit with 19-meter diameter and 11-meter depth; septic tank in addition to external works, all underground services and infrastructures for electromechanical works, asphalt area of 31, 000 SM, 50-car parking shed, landscaping and hardscaping.

Mohammed was responsible for analyzing contracts for content, clauses and definition of outstanding contractual matters during in direct relation to requirements at the initial stages of all projects; managing and leading all work site based activity of all resources, work scheduling and work implementation of the Safety Procedures, Quality Control and production and specification compliance; and supervising and implementing the project contract requirements which included the quality control system as well as safety. He was scheduling and coordinating all design and construction processes, including the selection, hiring, and oversight of specialty trade contractors; collecting documentation relating to events justifying delays and added expenses to customer; and reviewing subcontracting documents for project requirements and assign to appropriate vendor.

Mohammed actively managed, supervised and coordinated all subcontractors involved with attention to the prevention and/or defense of potential claims by subcontractors, and to prepare documentation to sustain any claims made; established articulate and close relations with the customer, in view of claims for time extensions, greater expenses for reasons beyond the control of the company; and prepared documentation supporting insurance claims following damage caused during project works. He also provided all information relating to the contract and project to the Legal Advisor in the event of technical administrative or arbitration disputes; and at the completion of each project, presented a report to the Commercial Office regarding contract conditions to be modified/changed in the event of similar situations in the future.

Mohammed was tasked with providing general contract support in areas of customer interface for all contractual correspondence and contacts; managing contracts in coordination with engineering staff, legal counsel and outside contractors through completion of bid and request for proposal process and contract award; drafting, negotiating and managing contracts for construction, services and materials; and administering change orders helping to ensure legal and contractual compliance and dispute resolution.

Al Wehdah Dam project is a $180-million hydroelectric power project located on Yarmouk River on the border between Syria and Jordan. The reservoir area covers 3.75 square kilometers. The project included a reusable, 70-meter high, 1.3 million cubic meter roller compacted concrete (RCC) dam with 200 million cubic meter storage capacity and a potential average annual yield of 120 million cubic meter downstream excavation 750, 000 cubic meter, shot-crete in open excavation 16, 500 SM, processing, mixing and injection grout 1.1 million KG, road excavation 375, 000 cubic meters, wearing course 32, 000 SM and steel reinforcement 1.8 million KG. It also contained permanent project access roads within the site, Offices, laboratories and housing as well as transmission line and substation, grout curtain cutoff, an ungated overflow stepped spillway, outlet, power facilities, electromechanical equipment, transmission line and substation and an 800-meter long horseshoe-shaped tunnel. The project was funded by the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, Islamic Fund, Abu Dhabi Fund for development and the Government of Jordan, under modified International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) forms of contract.

Mohammed was responsible for establishing, preparing and pricing of contractual claims and variations; catching up formal order, checking against quotation and confirming acceptance in conjunction with Commercial Manager; and advising the Client of potential program changes resulting from design development. He was coordinating with Design Manager for the timely development of project information enabling the accurate production of working drawings as well as raising commercial issues with the Client as soon as they arise during the design development process.

In conjunction with the commercial team, Mohammed was producing a contract review each month having prepared a detailed end life forecast for each contract; making sure the commercial team sent out payment applications on time, chasing payment and were up to date with claims and variations; and assisting with implementation of (sub) contract administration procedures and coordinating or monitoring the completion of administrative tasks. He was also conducting investigations and inquiries into specific (sub) contract problems and may provide assistance in claims research; gathering and compiling support data for the preparation of documents and the administration of (sub) contracts; monitoring areas of (sub) contract performance, as assigned; and analyzing contract performance requirements, special provisions, and terms and conditions to help ensure compliance with law, regulations, corporate policy and procedures.

Mohammed was tasked with effectively communicating contractual requirements and corporate policy to line management organizations; participating in the negotiation of teaming agreements with prospective partners to respond to Client’s solicitation requirements; and coordinating management review of proposals, contracts, and programs. In addition, he advised management of potential problems related to performance of contract requirements and prepared reports for use in analysis of proposal and contract activities.

The $55-million hotel extension project involved the 12-floor hotel and has a total build-up area of 30, 000 SM. The project included a 3-level parking garage, accommodating 250 cars; suspended swimming pool; 120 guest rooms; 25 suites; 132 rooms; 1, 400 SM structural steel ballroom; restaurants; fully-equipped health and fitness center; meeting and services rooms; and 1, 500-SM structural steel main lobby consisting of lobby pastry shop, Meridian Boutique, micro brewery, business center, cigar lounge and reception desk. The work covered all structural; electrical, mechanical and plumbing (EMP); equipment; finishing; interior decoration; and furnishing.

The state-of-the-art Royal Convention Center banqueting hall met quality of work and adhered to a very short deadline (112 days), set by the Jordanian Government, to house the 13th Arab Summit Conference. The project was on time, which was a challenge, and was granted His Majesty’s King Abdullah II awards to the engineers. The center consists of the 1, 100-guest Main Hall, equipped with a state-of-the-art interactive media system, acoustic ceiling, 900-SM pre-function area and 875-SM meeting rooms.

Mohammed was responsible for managing of all documentation and information necessary for the commencement of works and submission of “As Constructed” records and drawings. His duties included initiating communication regarding areas affecting the contract; initiating valuation of claims, change orders and extras; preparing cost valuation report and cash flow projection for the project; and preparing Subcontractor and Supplier cost evaluation and cost analysis.

Mohammed was estimating/re-measurement of Bill of Quantities (BOQs) for Façade, Architectural, Steel Structure and Fitting-out Works; preparing Bill of Materials and secure quotation from Subcontractors and Suppliers; preparing Interim Payment Application, Subcontractor’s Certificate for Payment, Variation Order, Purchase Order, Subcontract Agreement and other related works; and reconciling all accounts collectible from owner and all subcontractors billing.

Mohammed was tasked with preparing Bills and Schedules of Quantities of materials, labor and services required in the construction and equipment of building, or engineering works; preparing tender and contract documents, including BOQs with the Architect and/or Client; preparing specifications when required so to do; performing risk and value management and cost control; and preparing and analyzing costing for tenders. He was also advising on procurement strategy; identifying, analyzing and developing responses to commercial risks; providing advice on contractual claims; analyzing outcomes and writing detailed progress reports; valuing completed work and arranging payments; and maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use.

Mohammed was responsible for assisting in establishing Client’s requirements and undertaking feasibility studies; advising on procurement strategy; performing risk and value management and cost control; preparing and analyzing costing for tenders; and providing advice on contractual claims. He was tasked with valuing completed work and arranging payments; maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use; undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work; advising on procurement strategy; managing costs on a wide variety of new building projects and structures; and performing risk and value management and cost control.
