Responsibilities:
* Ensure on-time delivery of customer orders
* Optimize personnel, equipment, freight and inventories
* Acquire materials on-time
* Anticipate and resolve problems with short-term and permanent corrective actions.
* Select, motivate, train and ensure development of a competent department and material handling staff.
* Monitor and ensure departmental personnel conform to company policies and procedures while maintaining a safe and cost efficient environment.
* Be familiar with and ethically operate in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and governmental procedures relative to purchasing and financial reporting activities.
* Establish, monitor and control department budget that will effectively contribute to the overall manufacturing objectives and plant/business unit and company goals
* Employ techniques/methods for effective problem solving and continuous improvement.
* Implement purchasing, production scheduling, logistics and inventory control processes which ensures the availability of materials for an uninterrupted flow of production in accordance with delivery schedules, while maintaining minimum inventories.
Responsibility:
• Implement materials management strategies and plans
• Train and supervise client and Wood personnel on the Wood Materials Management System(MATERIA)
• Ensure all materials databases and project reporting tools are updated with the latest information
• Liaison with planning and construction to ensure material availability against Work Pack / Job Card
• Management of all materials between expediting function and suppliers to ensure safe and timely deliveries
• Coordination of hired plant and equipment including inspection requirements
• Manage the material control and warehousing functions to ensure timely delivery, receipt, checking, storing and issuing of goods
• Ensure all materials are clearly labelled with PO number, Client Ref and quantity
• Commitment to and promotion of companies values and ensuring the realization of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures
• Implement the Preservation and Maintenance procedure for materials and equipment arriving on site
• Using MATERIA system to manage and inventories the Perceiving issuing, SD reports
Responsibility:
• Develops the inventory management strategy of the company with the goal to control costs within budget, generate savings, rationalize inventory and maximize the working capital available
• Controls perpetual inventory stock counting and accuracy checks, processes and approves payment invoices, and investigates discrepancies and shortages to minimize overstocks and remove redundant and obsolete raw materials.
• Tracking and maintaining inventory by using the inventory management module in the ERP- SAP MM software.
• Manage the importing materials with chain supply and finalize the deliver procedure.
• Coordinate with suppliers to import the spare parts required for gas turbine units and its auxiliaries that licensed by Siemens.
Responsibility:
• Maintains, manages and accounts for inventory of materials and inputs essential data on all the handled materials, while adhering to strict accounting and auditing procedures according to BGC requirements
• Organizes and maintains the inventory floor area to ensure efficient material storage and handling.
• Control the planning schedule for project by control materials delivery.
• Reporting to BGC Managers and keep they posted regarding deliveries schedules.
