• Manage functional and technical projects relating to smart cities and public surveillance projects.
• Manage and communicate a clear vision of the project’s objectives, creating SOW and responsibility matrix to set the expectations of the client.
• Negotiate contracts with sub-contractors and manage vendor relationships.
• Introduce strategic level partnerships and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Direct the change control process and approved changes implementation.
• Ensure assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting client needs, business objectives and design guidelines.
• Ensure resource availability and allocation internally and within third parties/vendors.
• Develop project scope; involving relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
• Manage project planning and scheduling.
• Coordinate with internal sales to align solution design with customers’ business requirements.
• Work with government tenders (MOFA, MOI, GDP, SSF, GID …) and search for alternative products and creative solutions to meet the specifications with lower costs.
• Design network, computing and storage requirements for surveillance systems (including CCTV, Access control, intrusion detection and physical security) and integrate these systems if required.
• Manage compliance of requirements with HCIS standards, UK CCTV standards BS EN 62676, PAS68 or K12 for crash rating, ASTM ratings, NIJ ballistic resistant standards and UL fire ratings.
• Attend technical discussions with client and deliver compelling demonstrations to client.
• Install and configure network solutions and surveillance systems. (Cisco switches and Win server)
• Integrate video management systems with access control systems.
• Prepare installation procedures and act as the main technical adviser on site for subcontractors.
• Prepare drawings, plans and ensure installation is done as per specifications and standards.
• Manage, monitor, and interpret the contract design documents supplied.
