I was assigned as project engineer to Marafiq Rehabilitation Multimillions Project of 8 x 7E Hitachi units with total output of a more than 400 MW. As project engineer I took the lead of all communication between all stakeholders: (customer team, engineering team, commercial team, Procurement team, finance team and contractors). Furthermore, I contributed with the project team (GE & Marafiq) to set all the critical milestones of this mega project.
Early 2014 I was promoted as lead technical adviser for Saudi region where I led deferent type of outages: (major inspection, hot gas path, combustion inspection, generator over haul, generator rewind, associated systems trouble shooting). As of this role I was in charge in leading the site team as well leading the daily customer meeting, engineering consultation. In additional to that as a lead TA all outage preparation is part of my responsibilities such as preparing the job cost estimating sheet, line up all required resources, material, tools, spare parts and building up the schedule for the outage. I led more than 15 outages on deferent frame size such as (frame 5, frame 6F, frame 6B, frame 7E, frame 7FA and frame 9FA). Moreover, I have led couple of outages on the middle east region i.e. (Egypt, Oman & Jordan).
Joined gas turbine training program at NY, USA as mechanical technical advisor.
Assigned as mechanical TA at Qassim PP Installation project of 8 X 7EA gas turbine.
Assigned as mechanical TA for bore plug removal outage at Qurrayah PP.
Conducted Condition Base Maintenance at SEC Qurrayah & Aramco Ras Tanura.
Conducted a combustion inspection at Qurrayah PP.
Conducted liner sheet replacement at Saudi Aramco, Shaybah.
Troubleshooting and evaluation of the hydraulic and lifting oil system of 7FA gas turbine at SEC PP8.
Initially I was supporting the team by handling the ERP system (issuing purchase order, creating projects and tasks, raising services requests & raising a request for warranty funds). A few months later I was assigned as contractual services outage planner where I had to plan the resources, consumables, equipment & spare parts.
