The Brand Manager manages existing products & services as well as creating and integrating new products. In this role, the Brand Manager conducts margin analysis, industry/market research, and in-life performance measurement to determine product demand, positioning, viability, and profitability.

Heading the brand management roles and strategies for the Abbar portfolio consisting the following major categories:

FROZEN POULTRY
GROCERY RANGE
KETCHUP & MAYONNAISE
FOIL & NON FOOD
OLIVES 
EDIBLE OILS
RICE 
OTHER FROZEN RANGE
FROZEN FRENCH FRIES 
HERBS & SPICES.

- Responsible for working closely with the 10 International Suppliers & 1 Local Supplier.
- Managing a group of 12 brands with 300+ SKU’s.
- Managing & responsible for the stock inventory for 14 Branches.
- Responsible for Order Placement, Supply / Demand Alignment, Material Replenishment and Supplier Performance.
- Trade communication of price increase, new promo launch, product updates and new listings.
-Tracking of new listing by customer wise / outlet wise to highlight and overcome gaps.
- Creation of all new promotional items in the system.
- Ensure pricing strategy is implemented correctly in the market.
- Managing and evaluating all trade promotion levels to maximize ROI.
- Consolidating all marketing spend.
- Execute the implementation of POSM (production, logistic, placement, how to fill strategies etc.).
- Implement, develop and monitor the planogram across all brands.
- Prepare and suggest incentive schemes to help coverage and visibility targets.
- Registering the product details on SFDA.
- Planning & Implementation of flyer & In-store promotions in Modern Trade markets.
- Managing Annual Budgets/Sales Targets, Planning & Forecasting profits.
- Continuously monitoring, evaluating and improving supplier performance.
- Projecting stock levels.
- Reviewing best offers & bids from different sources.
- Controlling the purchasing budget.
- Monitoring the Shipping Schedule to ensure that the arrivals on time.
- Delivering cost savings for the company.
- Managing the procurement supplier relationships for the company.
- Following up with the supplier for rebates & claim amounts.
- Involved in selling off excess, damaged and inventory and stock.

NOTABLE CONTRIBUTION
Increased & maintained the profitability of my product groups.
Established various SAP reports that are useful for the procurement as well as for the sales side.
Prepared a report to monitor the daily Shipping Schedules.
Introduced new product lines with sole distributorship.
Established a new method of creating contract PO’s in SAP.
Discontinued many non performing SKU’s so as to focus on promising one.
Maintained the Inventory level to the optimum level without blocking up the cash.
Trained 7 fresher’s for the level of Junior Brand manager for different material groups
