To support operation Department for safe startup after the production between Saudi Arabia & Kuwait has been stopped since October 2014.
To insure all OIM’s are updated & available.
To insure all Emergency drawings are updated & available. To insure all check list are updated & available. To insure all Safety Valves are calibrated.
The first & biggest sea water RO plant in the KSA & the world by using solar energy as a power.
AWT is a newly formed subsidiary of TAQNIA and is a commercial arm of KACST, headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is owned and funded by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) of Saudi Arabia, a key strategic investment agency of the Saudi government.
AWT is rapidly building its capabilities in engineering, design, innovation, project management and O&M in the field of water desalination and water reuse.
Al Khafji SWRO powered by solar is 1st AWT Project. It is the world's first large-scale desalination plant powered by solar currently being built in Saudi Arabia is scheduled for completion early 2017.
To support the operation department to keep the plant running with optimum production and in a safe manner.To support all maintenance sections to perform their activities such as (preventive maintenance& corrective maintenance). To deal with outside contractors to execute many projects to extend the life of the plant. To support all maintenance sections to execute all planned activities during the shutdown period for maintenance. To support all maintenance sections by providing the spare parts for them through local purchase as well as foreign purchase.To support the maintenance employees to improve themselves through training courses.To follow up with material department the availability of spare parts.

To follow up with material department the availability of spare parts.
