- Build procurement strategy for country in line with the global corporate strategy of The Company.
- Responsible for the implementation of procurement corporate strategies, corporate contracts and objectives into the country within own scope.
- Ensure the validated strategy is well communicated to all stakeholders.
- In charge of adherence to Procurement policies, processes and procedures and the escalations of any deviation.
- Accountable for the realization and the reporting of the key performance indicators within own scope.
- The prime interface and representing procurement organization in front of Bid & Proposal management, delivery team, project management and sales team.
- Handling high importance sales opportunities (must win ones) and critical running projects.
- Build effective teams and empower employees.
- Establish clear and challenging objectives for others and encourage them to achieve beyond expectations.
- Responsible for the management and skill development of procurement resources.
- In charge for the performance assessment of the suppliers at country level.
- Enforce the companys statements of business principles towards the suppliers.
- Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge and understanding of internal customer's business, product or services portfolio, challenges and organizations.
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the markets and suppliers in own area of responsibility through appropriate use of databases, market research, informal network, industry bodies.
- Understand what market information is needed to support a purchasing decision, where to find this information and how to structure it.
- Understand the fundamentals of cost analysis and how suppliers calculate their costs and their selling price.
- Know how to perform a Cost analysis, value analysis and Total Cost of ownership (TCO) approach to identify cost reduction actions going beyond negotiations.
