Lead the preparation of monthly business units and consolidated financial statements. Reviewed all agreements and contracts for tax implications and established necessary procedures to ensure timely and accurate reporting of all applicable taxes. Prepared and filed all corporate tax returns accurately and on time. Examined the balance sheet and profit and loss items and advised management on optimizing the tax and zakat structure.
Evaluated and addressed appeals related to value-added tax, zakat, income tax, and withholding tax. Conducted thorough reviews of taxpayers' penalty cases before GAZT imposed any charges. Offered assistance and advice to taxpayers to enhance their comprehension of GAZT initiatives and help them manage their taxes efficiently to prevent penalties.
