•Lead and manage the project initiation till final handover, implementation of the Project Execution Plan.
•Project Management of Engineering, Procurement & Construction with complete emphasis.
•Develop contracting and strategy plan for project execution
•Follow & implement the company project gating system
•Develop work scope, master schedule, pre-qualification of potential bidders.
•Organizing and participation for necessary reviews of project deliverables including detail engineering, HAZOP, SOP, vendor documents etc.
•Identify inter-discipline interfaces and providing work directions to project team
•Review change order claims by contractor for any scope deviation
•Budget monitoring, implement cost control measures and provide all necessary input to project control team
•Review weekly & monthly project reports prepared by contractor and present it to department manager
•During construction: Lead/manage whole construction activities till end of completion including pre-commissioning activities

As an Electrical Engineer I am responsible for:

•responding to plant breakdowns
•diagnosing Electrical faults
•Participate and attend many root cause analysis (RCA)
•Participate and attend many RCM studies
•Communicate with vendors / suppliers and following with them
•Creating MOC’s and writing technical evaluations
•Review and update the documentation for the system
•Participate in TAM scope of work preparation
•ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
•Review and crate electrical procedures
• Review the PM scope of work & modify it if required.
•Technical review for spare parts.

As a Project Engineer I am responsible mainly for:

• Executing the work according to the PTS and Electrical Drawings.
• Updating the team of Consultants about the progress of the work and quality of the material used.
• Managing the team of the project and supervising their work.
• Holding the meetings with the individuals and the whole team to explain their role.
• Providing/advising the solution for the problems related to flow of work.
• Building the coordination in my team.

As an Electrical Engineer I was responsible for:

•Running the Load Flow calculation and Short Circuit Analysis to study all the technical issues that can arise due to addition of new substation to the system.
•Voltage drop calculation for bulk load of Network in Eastern Province.
•Preparation of the Scope of Work for the project.
•Power factor improvement calculation and of Network in Eastern Province
•Preparation of the base design for the approved projects which includes Single Line Diagram, Route Map for the Cables, Sizing the Incoming Cables or Overhead Lines, Sizing the Capacitor Banks.
•During the execution stage of the project, we review the SAT tests and keep track with the Projects Department regarding the progress of the project.
•I participated in the qualifying program prepared by the department, which includes visits to all related departments (Substation & Line Maintenance, Testing and Protection, Technical Service, Communication, System Operation and Control).
