To assist Project Manager in the supervision and management of construction activities. Conduct daily briefing with site team leaders to follow-up and report on the work progress in order to anticipate any possible delays with regards to planned tasks. Conduct regular inspections and assess the work performance done by all subcontractors. Provide Technical Support to other site team members.
•Assist in the planning and sequencing of the construction operations according to the Project Quality Plan. Evaluate and resolve any discrepancies and problems arising during construction which affect the quality of works performed. Take immediate corrective action to avoid any cumulative effect of such deviation and recover the delay to finish the task in due time. Enforce the relevant safety rules at site and make sure personal protective equipment is worn as and where required by the staff under their responsibility.
•Attend weekly & monthly meetings with client, consultant, sub-contractor etc. Coordinate the handing over of completed works to consultant and completion of the necessary rectification works. Coordinating Nonconformance to responsible person immediately and follow up for close out. Review and thorough study / analysis of fabrication, erection drawings received and timely coordination with QA/QC Manager for clarification and missing information. Routine inspection of repair of elements and ensure they are carried out as per approved method statements and by using approved materials. Final Inspection of precast and pre-stressed elements prior to shipments. Responsible to ensure approved raw materials are used in fabrication / erection activities. Inspection of raw materials, consignments and storage areas. Conduct quality control field test as required and relevant reports. Ensuring better quality standards of the finished product by consistent monitoring of the process and proper production sequence. Coordinate on quality issues with Project Manager / QC Manager on production or erection etc. Providing inspection services to ensure that preparations and materials are as specified by the Client.
