Directing Warehousing projects from inception to launch.
Main responsibilities :
• Define the scope of the project in collaboration with senior management.
• Determine the layout and specifications and estimate costs of the project.
• Determine needed resources (time, equipment and materials) to complete the project with attention to budgetary limitations.
• Plan all construction operations and schedule to ensure deadlines will be met.
• Review the project schedule with senior management and all other departments that will be affected by the project activities.
• Negotiate contracts with qualified consultants and contractors to reach profitable agreements.
• Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities.
• Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project.
• Report and escalate to management job status as needed.
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Monitor and approve all budgeted project expenditures.
• Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase.
Directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations; supervising staff.
Main responsibilities :
• Prepare the annual budget and plan.
• Develop and implement warehouse expansion/maintenance plans.
• Prepare the annual cycle count plan for all company warehouses.
• Develop and monitor the implementation of warehousing policies and procedures.
• Ensure effectiveness and timeliness of stock handling and storage activities.
• Represent the company in front of government authorities regarding warehousing governance activities.
• Ensure safeguarding in-hand stock and abidance by health and safety regulations; Ensure safeguarding and maintenance
of warehouse asset.
• Ensure cost-effective warehousing and transportation techniques.
• Ensure the settlement of vendors/contracts financial payments through the finance department, in line with the company financial policies.
• Prepare regular and timely operational reports regarding warehousing activities, expired goods, and stock control.
• Provide guidance and development to assigned staff and encourage individual development.
• Perform quality controls and monitor KPI's.
