I work under the Engineering Support Department, specifically under the Inspection & Corrosion Division. This division is responsible for analysing the company assets integrity by performing different type of inspection to maintain the safety, reliability & operability of these assets. The activities are in different disciplines; Mechanical, Electrical and Civil onshore & offshore. I work with my team to manage inspection activities internally as well as managing service contracts for specialised tasks when and if required. Contract management starts from the tender preparation all the way to running the services. I do planning, scheduling and supervision of all operation inspection activities. Right now, I am working in a team to verify an inspection technique to inspect Non-Scrapable Pipelines. I am interested in new technologies and advanced techniques to automate operation/inspection processes such as the utilisation of robots, crawlers in equipment & pipelines onshore & offshore.
