The works consist primarily of the following:
- Construction of 7km long dual carriageway road with (3) lanes in each direction.
- Construction of full Cloverleaf Interchange on Emirates Road (E611) crossing with Al- Taween Road.
- Construction of culverts to protect the existing RAK Gas and FEWA & TRNSCO Water pipe lines.
13 years of experience which includes 3 years as civil engineer supervising geotechnical works both in field and Laboratory and 10 years as Site/ Project Engineer in the field of infrastructure especially in Bridges
(including pile, pile cap, Abutment, pier, deck slab, posttensioning, bridge bearing and Expansion Joint) Roads(including drainage, future ducts, protection of existing utilities, lighting, road markings and traffic signs), & sewerage pipeline projects. The principle responsibilities include the following:
- Review and approval of the Contractor’s method statements and shop drawings and assuring their implementation on site
- Monitoring the Contractor’s work according to specifications, contract requirements and local Authorities regulations.
- Review and approval of the Contractor’s proposed materials as delegated by the Resident Engineer.
- Review of Inspector’s daily reports and prepare weekly and monthly progress report.
- Coordinate with the Contractor’s supervisory personnel regarding schedule, sequence and method of work.
- Participating in Safety weekly tour and ensuring the site safety practices.
- Review of As-built drawings, in coordination with inspectors and surveyors.
2014 - 2018 Project Engineer- Roads /Bridges - Hill International Inc., Abu Dhabi
06/2014 - 02/2018 Midfield Terminal Complex (MTC), Landside Primary and Secondary Roads. (Client: Abu Dhabi Airports Company, ADAC)
The Landside Primary and Secondary Roads component project is part of the Midfield Terminal Complex (MTC) for the Abu Dhabi International Airport Development.
The Primary Roads provide access and egress from the E-10 highway to the Midfield Terminal Building (MTB) include 11 No. single and multi-span bridge structures with a total length of approximately 2.1km of varying width to mainly carry between two and four carriageway lanes. At the approaches and between the aforementioned structures there are approximately 3km of roads on embankments.
The Secondary Roads loop from the boundary of the airport with the E-10 intersection and comprise of an at-grade local road network that is connected to the primary roads. The secondary road network generally comprises 2-lane carriageways in two directions separated by a 5.0m wide median.

Supervising soil investigation works both in field and Laboratory.
In field normally: Drilling: auger, wash boring and coring.
Sampling: D.S, UD.S and S.P.T
Testing: S.P.T and N.M.C
Initial description of soil strata and preparing testing Programme
Preparing daily report.
In laboratory normally: Classification tests: sieve analysis, Atterberg limits and sedimentation by hydrometer.
Strength tests: triaxial test, unconfined compression test and shear box test
Other tests: consolidation test and swelling pressure test
Chemical tests: chloride, sulphate and PH
Testing according to BS and Classification according to USCS
M.S. Excel to interpret of tests results.
Preparation of geotechnical reports.
During this period more than 20 projects have been completed including the following:
- Laboratory coordinator (30/6/2007- 3/12/2007)
* Dam Complex of Upper Atbara Project at Gedaref state (17/3/2007- 3/12/2007), the investigation includes the following: - Drilling in soil and rock up to 80m depth.
- Conducting and calculating lugeon test.
- Installing piezometer
- 78 pits up to5.0m in borrow areas
2005 - 2006: Site Engineer - Montag Trading and Engineering Co., Khartoum
Algaili Water Treatment Plant, following the construction of main reservoir tank.
* Kosti (4*125 KW) Thermal Power Plant at White Nile state (16/4/2006-8/8/2006), the investigation includes the following:
- 100 boreholes of different depths up to 25m depth.
- 17 dynamic cone penetration tests.
- 12 plate load tests and cyclic plate load tests.
- 5 trial pits up to 4.0m depth including field density tests.
- 10 field permeability tests.
- Pressuremeter tests.
Qualifications . Aug 2005 - Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Honours) - University of Khartoum, Sudan . Approved from ADM (Roads Department), ADSSC and ADNOC as Site Inspection Engineer.
