- Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) from King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), Certificate # 406, 2004 till date. (Covering the RSO activities since 2004 - 2010).also covering the Operations Assistant the main activities as follows:
- Established KCAST Radiations certificate authorization for ISS, starting with 15 isotopes, in 2008 increased to 30 sources from Ir-192.
- Conducting documented Radiation Safety training and refresher courses for all technicians and trainees. I trainee more than 350 technicians during this period.
- Import and export radioactive sources and containers and prepare all required paper work as per regulations and need of company.
- Maintenance and service of radiography and radiation safety equipment (projectors, crank units, etc...)
- Monitoring the radiation safety of all company radiographers as per regulations.
- Ensuring compliance of personnel with established emergency procedures. Making changes and adjustments to procedure as deemed necessary.
- Documenting all safety-related incidents concerning field technicians.
- Liaising with client representatives and government offices regarding company safety procedures and regulations as required.
