Duties and Responsibilities \[vendor ( Huawei and Ericsson)\] :
1- Core network engineer
 Prepare up to data BSS&NSS performance measurements reports in a regular basis.
 Analyze and troubleshoot BSS&NSS network performance to improve network
elements quality.
 Optimize BSS&NSS network performance.
 Translate marketing and technical requirement into solutions designs.
§ Prepare a solution implementation design document BSS&NSS plan,
time plan, and implementation plan).
§ Archive for configuration changes.
 Dimension BSS&NSS nodes and links.
 Plan for BSS& NSS network swaps.
 Prepare work orders.
 Follow up implementation of BSS&NSS network plan.
 Participate in the BSS&NSS nodes acceptance test.
 Perform Ad-hoc duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
 Statistics monitoring at BO (Business object ) & M2000.

2- BSS planning Team Leader
 Provide effective instructions/recommendations to team to proceed with corrective
actions.
 Ensure the daily reports availability.
 Review /Analyze the up to date CS core network performance measurements reports.
 Analyze and troubleshoot CS network performance to improve network elements
quality.
 Recommend effective CS changes if required and submit it to CNE HOS.
 Verify of quality parameters and CS network performance optimization.
 Review / participate in Translating marketing and technical requirements into
solutions designs.
 Review a solution implementation design document (CS plan, time plan, implementation plan).
 Review CS work orders.
 Follow up implementation of BSS network plan.
 Coordinate/Review CS nodes acceptance test.
 Review/ participate in Y numbering.
 Suggest new techniques for better CS core network planning & performance.
 Supervise and follow-up section plans and their implementations according to
company objectives in accordance with the yearly plan.
 Coordinate with other technical unites.
 Perform any duty or assignment requested by upper line of authority.
 Responsible for Huawei and Ericsson expansion.
 Project member for Network swap.
 Complete the BSS & core network elements studies in order to take the purchasing
decision.
 To handle Emergency in GSM BSS network to control of the Processor overload &
Overload protection of BSC/TC.
 To provide necessary help required by BSS Operations teams.
 Investigation, monitoring and evaluation of Quality of Service, tuning of system parameters
both BSC/TC & Radio Network.
 To Prepare the BOQ.
 Good background in the communication transmission technologies (PCM, ATM, PDH, SDH).
