• Managed the logistics scope of the first large-scale product recall in Saudi Arabia as part of a Mars global recall. Established required processes and SOPs and coordinated with external stakeholders for successful collection, consolidation and destruction of 80, 000 cases of recalled SKUs with zero discrepancies.
• Led warehouse transformation through continuous improvement projects including introduction of batch traceability system in warehouses and revamp of ERP of the distributor - Al Naghi Group facilitating enhanced quality control of Mars products.
• Implemented action plans for establishing operational excellence in terms of inbound and outbound KPIs and system reports in 6 warehouses across KSA. This reduced disposal of near expiry lots by 20%
• Conducted value stream mapping workshop to identify opportunities for implementing lean operations across land transportations, clearances at seaports and warehouse handling of trucks/containers. Developed and signed off improved processes and agreed SLAs which reduced average shipment offloading time from 3 days to 1 day, detention time of trucks/containers from 1.5 days to 0.2 days and reduced monthly value of shortages/damages from USD 80, 000 to USD 45, 000.
• Reduced average TAT for Egypt shipments by 30% through rerouting of shipments.

• Managed land inbound logistics for Mars in Saudi Arabia accounting for 50% of all KSA inbound traffic.
