• Managing the Procurement activities under Commercial Category, involving Consumer and Business Units as well as, Marketing & Whole Sale Departments.
• Planning the Yearly and Long Term needs of the Commercial Category, to assure an uninterrupted flow of goods and services;
• Maintaining the purchasing & contracting and Tendering policies and ensuring that all Procurement adhere to it, and set the policy as well;

• Active Involvement in the Marketing Campaigns Planning, from the Budgeting until the Agreement signature;
• Commercial Category Spend Management, and Cost Saving Initiative;
• SIMs, Scratch Cards, and Devices/Handsets Procurement and Management, in close collaboration with the involved stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Logistics);

-Medical Insurance for the staff Year on Year.
-Building Facilities Agreements (Corporate Real Estate).
-Call Center Agreements, Etc.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Managing the Procurement activities under General Category, involving Facilities and Administration, Call Center, Internal Audit, Finance & HR Departments.
• Maintaining the purchasing & contracting and Tendering policies and ensuring that all Procurement adhere to it, and set the policy as well.
• Managing the suppliers Relationship and maintaining the legal interaction with them.
• Managing any SLA’s (Service Level Agreements) that may be in place and managing any Master Agreements between the suppliers and the company.
• Leading the team, training and management.
• Liaison with other departments, particularly the End Users, Finance and Legal.
• Liaison with Etisalat Emirate Co. along with other partner the best practice of Telecommunication.
• Budgeting, costing and cost saving after reviewing the management information available.
• Health and Safety, Quality and other legal requirements.
• Follow up and ensure the optimum productivity as well as the work quality of the work load with approved KPI;
• Ensure Continuous improvement in customization /improvisation of ERP/Oracle system;
• Assists the EGM/P in presenting the High value Procurement cases to ‘Senior Management’.
• Frequent contacts with local and international vendors and service providers for establishing effective channels of communication.
• Keeping updated knowledge of latest market conditions and trends also recommend improvements and modifications to current policies and procedures, ensuring Procurement’s procedures are kept current and up-to-date.
Procurement transformation with emphasis on buying the right products and services to fit the longer term needs of the business, with the expectation of best value, total cost solutions being achieved rather than a simple quick, price focused fit. Ensuring Procurement division is moving in direction of Mobily positioning as ICT player.

Contracts & Purchasing Supervisor, 7/2008 - 10/2013
Provide leadership, training, and direction for a team comprised of a Contract & Procurement Specialist Manager, Senior Professional, and Assistant Officers, ensuring productivity and cost efficiency while adhering to corporate policies and procedures. Review, negotiate, and finalize high-value, high-risk requests for proposal (RFP), requests for quotations (RFQ), and tenders; manage sponsorship agreements and inter-operator tariff (IOT) agreements. Evaluate, negotiate, and finalize contract documents in both Arabic and English; seek the approval of management and all shareholders for contract execution; assess and ensure ongoing compliance with contractual obligations by all parties; coordinate approval of contract amendments. Drafted contracts for events and suppliers, ensuring clear and accurate language to avoid potential disputes. Delegated tasks to staff, including issuance of Ready for Service, Provisional Acceptance, and Final Acceptance Certificates to address discrepancies with end-user recommendations. Established and maintained excellent relationships with banks, facilitating validity extension for bank guarantees.
