• Creating Resource Pools and Setting limits and priorities on CPU and RAM and Delegating permissions on Resource Pools to users using Access Controls.
• Creating Virtual Machine Templates, Snapshots, Cloning Virtual Machines, Patching on servers.
• Root Cause & System Log Analysis and reporting.
• Changing the configuration of VMware’s on need basis.
• Setting up Alarms/alerts for the infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting issues related to Virtual Machine VMotion, snapshots, clone, and converter.
• Installing various plug-in available in vSphere on VC like update Manager, VDR & converter etc.
• Implementing and managing policies available in vSwitch as per network configuration.
• Taking ESX configuration backup & restoring using host profiles
• Installing and Maintaining of the ESX/ESXi 4.0 Servers, vCenter, looking into day-to-day activities of Production database, Monitoring its growth and performance.
• Work with Change and Problem Management Tools.
• Preparation of Technical Support Guides to formulate troubleshooting tips and procedures for efficient and faster service delivery
• Manage Task, Events and Alarms
• Provided System Administration of Active Directory environment
