To Checking & Approve RFI’s as submitted by contractor on daily basis.
Performs all duties associated with surveying, which may include direction and preparation of boundary surveys, easements and descriptions.
Supervises a team of Land Surveyors.
Performing record research, construction stakeout, and boundary, topographic, transportation and utility surveys utilizing total stations and data collectors.
Review information from survey teams regarding measurement of distances, directions, angles between points and elevation of points, lines, and contours on, above, and below the earth’s surface.
Plan field work & select known survey reference points.
Determine the precise location of important features in the survey area.
Research legal records, look for evidence of previous boundaries, and analyze the data to determine the location of boundary lines.
Record the results of surveys and verify accuracy of data.
Prepare plots, maps, and reports - meters and bounds descriptions.
Work includes checking survey works for emergency dam projects, spillway projects, upstream dam projects, box culverts and open channels, pedestrian bridges, safety improvement project, along with storm water network.
Responsible for inspection of Civil & Structural works such as Reinforcement & Formworks.
Responsible for inspection of Architectural works such as Block works, Internal & External Plastering, Waterproofing & Insulation, Primer & Painting, Tile & Stonework’s, Stair handrail & Window works etc.
Inspect all backfill operations to ensure that the project requirements are followed.
Provide guidance to supervisors in relation to building works, ensure progress according to schedule, quality standards is maintained, site inspections are carried out and technical issues are resolved on time.
Coordinating with Project Manager, Construction Manager & Senior Engineers regarding technical issues.
Attending weekly and monthly meeting regarding progress of work.
