Bupa Arabia is a leading medical insurance company in Saudi Arabia with a portfolio of over a million insured members.
• As Medical Preauthorization Manager, I led a team of 45 doctors and nurses to achieve targets and key performance indicators set by management on yearly basis.
• Managing growth in all its aspects such as building strong teams from different back grounds and nationalities, upgrading systems / procedures and developing products to address customers need.
• Budget planning and prospecting. Cost containment of medical expenses within the set target by management.

For 4 years I was a Relief Medical Centre Manager, rotating to cover up for Managers of medical centres who are on vacations .
My job was to insure that the daily medical service provided in these centres is according to the highest level required by management . Also I was the senior medical person in each centre responsible for examination and referral of complex cases . Part of my job was to provide medical awareness to community and take active part in organizing medical awareness campaigns
I was responsible for initial medical assessment and referral of all patient coming for treatment in UK under the funds of MOH . I had to make sure that the most effective and most cost effective treatment is given to the patient . I was also responsible for formulating packages`with hospitals and negotiating prices on regular basis .
