1. Focal point between APQ (Client) & Air Products (EPC) for Engineering & procurement to deliver largest Steam methane reformer (H2) & Air separation unit (N2 & O2).
2. Responsible for preparation of Project Execution plan, scope of work, project set-up, & project subcontracting strategy.
3. Leading a team of Engineers and interfacing with users (SASREF, SATORP, CHEMANOL) to deliver a $50M pipeline portfolio from concept to execution.
4. Managing multiple stakeholders including ministry of environment, Royal commission Jubail, Utility owners Marafiq, licensors, fabricators & vendors.
5. Key challenges were maintaining scope, supply & interface clarity between 7 construction contractors and timely placement of PO to ensure planned material delivery including modules delivery from Fabricator.
6. Responsible for Project close-out & completion. Identified, documented, and disseminated lessons learned.
1. Led Engineering Contractor’s (SLFE) team of 50 Engineers & designers to execute Engineering to 40 Wellheads, 4 Gas processing facilities, 600 KM Flowlines & Pipelines for Gas delivery to users.
2. Focal point for change management. Got changes approved from ARAMCO from technical initiation to commercial close out. Project got into profit due to approval of change orders worth $270M.
3. Managed procurement activities including production of material requisitions, tender bid evaluations and ensures smooth movement of critical activities like PO placements, NMR approvals, PIMs.
4. Oversaw the process for extension of time. Analyzed root causes for delays and cost overruns leading to approval of EOT amounting to $20M.
1. Assess IFC drawings to identify changes associated with Engineering, procurement, and construction from project initiation to close out.
2. Reviewing of Tender documents, coordination with multidiscipline team (Engineering, Procurement, HSE, Business development & Contracts) ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
3. Performed pump hydraulics, line sizing, control valve sizing & PSV sizing and prepared process datasheets, line list, Equipment list and specification sheets for Equipment, instrument & packages.
4. Participated in HAZOPs (20+), HAZIDs, ENVID, SIL/LOPA studies and design review workshops for major clients including Saudi ARAMCO, Shell Iraq, Qatar Energy & Qatar Shell.
