- Run teaching experiments in different areas of Chemical Engineering covering: Fluid Mechanics, Heat Transfer, Mass Transfer, Unit Operations, Reaction Kinetics and Process Control.
- Perform multiple tests such as: Viscosity, Gas Chromatography, atomic absorption, spectroscopy, UV & IR for teaching lab as well for research lab etc.
- Assists with special projects by supporting the development of new test methods and test transfers and performing investigative test analysis as required.
- perform non routine physical and chemical testing and other projects with minimal supervision.
- Perform problem investigations and participate in team problem solving, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure safe working conditions and practices, proficiency with laboratory equipment and processes and analytical software.
- Perform housekeeping work as required.
- Responsible for Laboratory and Instrumentation handling.
- handle chemical analysis and understand software used in teaching laboratory.
