Track and develop capital market transactions, including foreign exchange, options, etc.
Interact directly with clients to identify their needs and to assess strategic avenues for success.
Compile daily, weekly, and year-end market and technical reports.
Coordinate settlements for futures, foreign exchange, and option transactions.
Research and analyse international markets for potential shifts in market responses.
Help the Head Trader in managing the trade book.
Interact with banks to exchange information, carry the rollovers (swaps) and carry trades.
Collaborate with compliance on opening accounts for new clients.
Bachelor of Commerce, Honors The Sprott School of Business; AACSB Accredited Awards: Sprott Foundation Bursary Relevant Finance Courses: Investments, International Finance, Applied Corporate Finance, Portfolio Management, and Strategic Management. Complementary Accounting and Economics Courses: Intermediate Accounting I & II, Accounting for Business Combinations, Intermediate Microeconomics, Intermediate Macroeconomics I & II, and Introduction to International Trade.
