Responsible of all kind of logistics operations.
Working as a team leader of 6 members.
Interacting with shipping lines/forwarders to maintain core relations for the business activities
Follow-up with production department and outside suppliers to make proper shipment.
Interacting with the suppliers in China, India, Turkey etc. for shipment details, payments and shipment documents.
Coordinating with local sales team of all GCC countries for stock requirements. Arranging stock transfer from the main warehouse in Dubai to all the local warehouses across GCC periodically.
Coordinating and collecting sales and stock information from all the country managers and preparing stock requirement forecast. Interacting with international clients to ship PO base.
Coordinating with international customers and bank for payment collection (LC) Preparing export documentation for exports to other GCC countries, India, African countries, etc.
Making stock analysis and requirements report to present purchase department for placing order.
Coordinate with purchase department to make stock requirements planning.
Monitoring and follow up with Dubai customs and DP world on implementation of new policies and regulation.
Dealing with Dubai Municipality to get FIRS approval and health certificate for the food shipments.
Passing Mirsal 2 Declarations
Obtaining quotes and selecting shipping forwarders based upon company policy.
Notifying the suppliers to pass on the documents and shipments
Coordinating with the finance department regarding payments to the suppliers,
TT, TR preparations.
After obtaining the documents, coordinating with the warehouse manager/local transporter to take the shipment from the port to the Warehouse.
Preparing import schedule and circulating among the concerned parties.
Exports
Obtaining Purchase orders from sales department /GCC managers and preparing the pick list as per the stock availability in liaison with the store manager through SAP
Interacting with shipping agencies/forwarder to Arranging container / trailer for the export
Passing Mirsal 2 Declarations
Preparation of invoice and packing list, export declaration and bill of entries (Makasa), Bill Of Leading, ESMA certificate/SASO ( if required )
Attestation of documents from the Chamber of Commerce and obtaining certificate of origin.
Following up on the status of the shipment until it is cleared from the destination port.
