VENTURE OF SAUDI ARAMCO" S EXPANSION OF PHASE- II COMPLEX: Designation: Lead Environment Duration: 25 August- 2015 to 12 January -2019. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Total Solid Waste management. (Waste profiling / Manifesting / Disposal strategies)
• Solid waste management data Consolidation by Weekly, monthly and yearly
• Waste water Treatment - Design / O & M process / Troubleshoot.
• Ground water monitoring survey
• Air pollution Control - O & M process (ESP / BHF / Scrubbers)
• Environmental Audits & review of MCC & PSSR.
• Review of Environmental Procedures.
• Review of JSA & Risk Assessment.
• Technical Walkthroughs for upcoming new Phase-II project.
• Participation of Special Walkthrough (This include various monitors, instrumentation,
• Categorize the waste as per the nature of hazard.
• Follow applicable laws and regulations for Hazardous/Non-Hazardous waste.
• Responsible for conducting the point source stack emission monitoring for particulate
• Have hands-on experience in setting up, Calibration and Maintenance of Air quality
• Monitoring equipment.
• Ground water sampling and monitoring using the standard methods to determine COD,
• BOD, TOC against the standards.
•
• Have conducted personnel exposure monitoring for noise, chemicals etc.
•
• Preparation of reports and participating in the technical discussions and clarifications
•
• Conducting Environmental Drill on regular basis to give awareness to the employees.
•
• Ensuring chemicals and hazardous materials are being handled and stored as per the
• Environmental Management Plan.
•
• Conducting Incident investigation for establishing root causes and follow-up of
• corrective and preventive actions.
•
• Ensuring Wastes are reduced, reused and recycled through conducting campaigns &
•
• Ensuring Environmental legal compliance for the entire complex housing 26 world scale
• plants (covering Polymer, Polyester, Olefins and Elastomers).
•
• Assisting Environment-Head in obtaining Consent to Establish, Consent to Operate, and
• Environment Clearances etc. for new projects and product mix.
• Implementing innovative programmes to reduce wastes, efluents and emissions.
• Identifying productive applications of wastes.
• Imparting training on Environment Management, Wastewater Treatment, Air Pollution
• Control, EIA, ISO 14001, Spill Management, Hazardous Waste Management
• Monthly Environmental audits for identified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Participate in incident investigation, identifying root causes and prepare efective
• Recommendations to prevent recurrences.
• Ensuring Environmental Monitoring (Stack, Ambient Air, Noise, River water, Ground Water, Fugitive emissions).
• Liasioning with State Pollution Control Board and other statutory authorities.
• Formulation/ revision of Environmental Procedures/ Standards.
• Organizing month long Environmental Awareness campaign prior to World Environment
