Quality Control key responsibilities:
• Interpret quality control philosophy and concept of product quality to key personnel in the organization.
• Managing catering, FMCG (KFC - Hardee’s - Pizza hut -TGI Fridays - ETC …), Beef and chicken production lines and maintaining a high level in hygiene, food safety and quality.
• Direct & manage, supervise all activities including inspections, Testing, Design Validation, Calibration, and Test Methods & Infrastructure.
• Coordinate with production manager and other interested parties to prevent or minimize the cause of product defect.
• Establish a complete and detailed Quality Control plan for all products.
• Control & reduce the department expenses.
• Independently plans, manages, and completes technical projects to design, develop, and optimize new products with necessary shelf-life and sensory characteristics within designated time frame.
• Assist in the research of appropriate co-processing partners and functional ingredients to implement designated new product.
• Training Quality Control Supervisors.
• Documentation control of files for all processing steps inside plants.
• Preparation, Processing and Packaging Control for Frozen, cooked products and catering.
• Follow up Pest Control Activities in facilities.
• Managing and training of Labors and Technicians.
• Raising Non-Conformity reports against other departments to improve food safety, hygiene and quality.
Quality Assurance key responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance and assist with adherence to the Quality /food safety Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22000, BRC, YUM) and key customer requirements.
• Supplier approval & evaluation system verification.
• Responsible for implementation of supplier auditing program.
• Raising non-conformity reports to suppliers in case of any violation from the standard.
• Follow up of closing all non-conformance with suppliers with revision of the route cause analysis & corrective action to prevent the recurrence.
• Coordination between quality departments, warehouses, planning, operation and logistics support in the cases of clearance and rejection of raw materials.
• Internal auditing for the dry & cold stores in weekly bases.
• Ensure that all raw materials and packaging for new products meets with customer and business expectations whilst adhering to legislative, quality, safety and environmental standards.
• Examination and receipt of dry, chemical and packaging materials & check their compliance to the specification.
• Comparing the parameter in the certificate of analysis with its range in the specification in the receiving of each shipment of any material.
• Evaluate the status of products with the problems of logistics and Supply Chain team.
• Create new barcode for products and raw materials.
• Receiving new samples of raw materials, examining and analyzing them, communicating with the concerned departments for trial on the product.
• Follow up of Hold & release system on oracle for all raw materials and Finished goods.
• Management of packaging samples throughout the process, ensuring blanks are available for product trials and printed packaging is available for pre-production.
• Sign off artwork with the site team, labeling design and creation.
