Coordinating with Consultants and preparing Site visit, work inspection request (WIR) and material submittals for approval.
- Follow up daily with the consultant the progress of work and reply to his site observations reports and finishing his notes and guidance.
- Supervising all subcontractors applying architectural finishes.
- Control and inspect masonry and rendering work done by
technicians/subcontractors and ensure the respect of approved shop drawing, alignment, angles and good water treatment.
- Supervise the application of gypsum board and corniches and avoid cracks, check quality of materials and spacing between supports.
- Inspect the application of bituminous in the back of wood door frame and the good fixation in masonry with the approval measurements.
- Ensuring the right dimensions taken by windows fixer, alignment and good fixation for aluminum frames with masonry.
- Following up with the subcontractor of the curtain wall from shop drawings to the final fixation to avoid any problems with structure elements or non-coordination with the building cladding.
- Control the application of different step in painting, starting from the scraping the wall, primer, mastic until the final paint coat.
- Supervising the fixation of marble/stone in wall with mechanical method and ensure alignment and no joints.
- Fixing fire sealant in necessary opening in walls and slabs after the finishing of services work
- Assisting and preparing necessary documents during the Civil defense inspection.
- Assisting and preparing necessary documents and follow up with notes of PWA during the inspection of building drainage and connection.
- Assisting and preparing necessary documents until receiving completion certificate from municipality.
- Responsible to complies and amend the Architectural plans according to the regulation of planning department.
- Preparing and coordinating shop drawings of new constructions
- Reviewing and comment shop drawings under coordination with structural & MEP before submitted to the consultant.
- Preparing the bill of quantities B.O.Q
- Thinking both creatively and logically to resolve design and development problems in sites
- Determine and schedule different stages of the building process according to client needs.
- Maintain close coordination with MEP works interfacing with architectural finishes.
- Overawing correspondence and approved subcontractor’s requests for payment.
- Negotiating with suppliers/subcontractors materials, quotations.
- Managing multiple aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with structural, MEP, lighting, landscape, and civil consultants.
- Preparing the As-built drawing for the municipality inspection.
- Under my charge were 2 engineers, 3 foremen and more than 60 workers
- Monitoring activities on sites to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Teaching architecture workshop for 2nd and 4th level
- Teaching autoCAD/sketch up for beginner and second level
- Consulting within the administration for extensions and decorations of new buildings or classes
