I Joined Centerra Group as a Construction Manager for a Multiple Award Construction
Contract in United States Naval Station and Guantanamo Bay Cuba.
The project I was in charge of was renovation and upgrades of an existing EMD power generation plant, the plant was the main facility that supplied power to the base, the plant consists of 10 EMD Units with a total rated capacity of 20MW.
The renovation consisted of complete upgrade of the PLC/SCADA system of the power plant, upgrades to the existing OPWG fiber optics network, and fuel efficiency upgrades.
The project also included upgrades to existing substations PLCs, switch gear upgrades and civil work.

My duties includes but not limited to:
• Plan and achieve the most cost and time efficient plan
• Allocate resources to accomplish the project in hand
• Review and adapt designs in field by using UFGS and UFC standards and coordinating with the designer to meet the client requirements
• Efficiently estimating and ordering the bill of materials
• Verify quality standards and international construction standards are being met efficiently on hand
• Technical decision making in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical work aspects
• Coordinate and running meetings between different sub-contractors
• Scheduling and reporting to senior management
• Foresee possible obstacles and planning appropriate solutions to overcome it
• Plan and oversee day to day activities

I joined TNB-KN in Kuwait as Mechanical Engineer. The power plant contains of (LM6000 PC * 5 units) and several auxiliaries (Air compressors, Gas Compressors, chiller, water treatment system, firefighting system and 5 Auxiliaries transformers)

- My duties includes but not limited to:
• Team leader of Gas turbines and auxiliaries.
• Coordinating P.T.W. instructions and Safety issues with Maintenance departments for units and auxiliaries.
• Responsibility of daily Operation activities report to top management and MEW.
• Monitoring performed Gas Turbines units and auxiliaries.
• Organizing and supporting the staff while starting up and shutting down GT units.

I joined Supreme Construction operations in Africa projects centered in Mali, as a project engineer for Multi Million dollars Projects in Mali, Supreme group is the prime fuel Supplier “Diesel, Jet” and one of the major contractors for the United Nations mission in Mali “MINUSMA”, US Department of Defense “DoD”, UK Ministry of Defense, Supreme build, own and operate fuel plants in more than 22 cities in Mali for the UN.
My job is to plan, achieve and supervise the construction projects for the company in the different areas, including Civil,
Earthworks, concrete structures, Steel Structures, Plumbing, Mechanical “Fuel Pipe lines, firefighting, HVAC, Plumbing, Power plants”, Electrical and accommodation erection.

- My duties included but weren’t limited to:

• Scheduling, reporting and assisting the Sector Manager
• 1st Shift engineer in the plant and performing the daily technical report while night shift.
• Operating steam turbine units of (2 x 45 Mega Watts).
• Operating HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) of (8 x 45 tons Steam/Hour).
• Operating gas unites of (8 x 25 Mega Watts).
• Dealing with firefighting of the site.
• Knowledge of makeup of Distilled water for the steam turbine.
• Performing switch gear operation with National Control Center to connect and disconnect 220 K.V grid function.
• Dealing with different types of transformers (11.5/220Kv, 11.5/3Kv, and 11.5Kv/400v), Transformers Lines and protection equipment.
• Dealing with different types of mechanical equipment (Boilers, Pump sand compressors)
