Presently, I head the sales & marketing team of Fair Exhibition Organisers reporting to the Managing Director directly, although originally I had joined the firm as an assistant to the Marketing Manager. I was upgraded to the post of Marketing Manager in mid 2010, after proving excellence at tasks. At FEO I got the opportunity to understand the exhibitions industry and the aspects of organizing an exhibition in the Middle East & India.

Some of my major activities / responsibilities include the following: -

Exploring new markets and areas for business development in MENA region.
Initiating a Joint venture projects and representing FEO internationally.
Constant monitoring the region for new business opportunities.
Involved in conceptualization of Trade & Commercial shows on various topics.
Strategic planning of event budgets, sales plans & projections.
Setting new benchmarks for sales targets and leading the sales team involved in exhibition space or services selling.
Management of existing clientele of FEO with utmost care and maintaining the relationship.
Development of sales & marketing presentations for business pitching.
Monitoring Respective industry and observe key trends and shifts in the market.
Devising a Sales & Marketing Plan for selling exhibition space & exhibition services.
Heading the sales team, and under my leadership FEO has seen a significant increase in sales.
Conducted weekly sales meetings and kept a strict record of the sales prospects.
Venue Management with utilization of all resources including layout plans and optimum utilization of saleable space.
Arrangement / Allocation of exhibition stands/booths involving co-ordinating with vendors, venue & clientele.
Creating deadlines and drafting strategies to achieve the deadlines.
Supervising the exhibition booth setup ensuring they are in tune with sales promises.
Attending to the requirements of the exhibitors and accomplishing them.
Attending to the complaints posed by clients and rectifying the issues.
Drafting post event reports offering recommendations for constant improvement.

Computer Proficiency -

I can call myself a computer literate, as I have pretty decent knowledge of computer software and hardware and can effectively use the web to serve my purposes. Well versed knowledge of Microsoft Windows as well as Apple’s Mac OS, apart from proficiency in latest versions of the following softwares: -

Microsoft Outlook

Adobe Photoshop CS2 & CS3
Sound knowledge of the Web, Mobile Applications and their uses.
