*Studying the tender drawing and Specifications to prepare the shop drawing, project estimation and project value engineering also prepare the Coordination drawings between all (MEP) utilities in the site.
*SLDs, Riser diagrams & panel schedule calculation sheets, cable routings layout and calculations. Composite MEP layout and section drawings Earthing & Lightning systems builder work.
*Calculation for all electrical load for building and all electrical requirements.
*Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
*Deep knowledge in designing, execution/installation, testing and commissioning until handover of MVSWGR, LVSWGR, Transformers, Generators, Automatic transfer switch, RMU, MDB panels, MCC panels, DB’s, Building Management System (BMS), FM200, Fire Fighting system, DDC panel and control devices, VFD, VAV, CAV, HV, MV, LV Cables etc.
*Design for power requirement for HVAC system (AV, VAV, CAV, FCU, Chillers, cooling tower AHU, Package unit, humidifier, ionization unit. Duct heater And Fans) control system included DDC, starter panel (MCC, VFD. Soft starter DOL Y/D) and field devices.
*Design & installation for Access Control Systems, Master Clocks, WIFI, GSM Antenna, IP Telephone, Intercom Security, Public Information Display Screens (PIDS), Audio/visual System, Public Address Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Structure Cabling, CCTV etc for all low current system.
*Study the project documents including drawings, specifications, BOQ (Bill of Quantity), RFI (Request for information), correspondence…etc. to take into consideration all the project details during execution.
*Prepare RFI and send it to the project consultant to obtain missing information and resolve all conflicts.
*Provide the Technical Office Engineers with the needed support and guidance to carry out their responsibilities.
*Produce electrical shop drawings / as-built drawings with co-ordination of "BIM/Revit team" for projects to create the electrical infrastructure of projects as needed.
*Review all the electrical drawings of projects to solve any drawing technical issues.
*Studying and understanding of the contract documents (drawings, specifications and BOQ’s).
*Preparing detail design documents, lists, calculation notes, drawings and detailed material take off required for the project.
*Review shop drawings.
*Coordinates with site engineers and construction managers and provide shop drawings as per site priority.
*Performing load calculations to determine the proper load distribution among LV panels, MDB, SMDB, EMDB, & Synchronization panels. Selection of Transformer and DG- set.
*Preparation of SLD as per Final selection of Loads.
* Selection of breaker capacity, cable size, Busway size, capacitor bank and ATS based on the load calculations.
*Review fabrication Drawing for panels, DB’s, MCC, MDB, EMDB.
*Review power and control diagram for MCC from supplier.
*Experienced in handling all LV and ELV systems installation.
*Knowledge of the design of electrical LV and fire alarm system.
*Prepare BOQ for the electrical and fire alarm system from drawings.
*Review material submittals and method statements.
*Coordinate with procurement department for their Release of LPO as per the Requirement of Project.
*Monitor the delivery of material onsite in accordance with the planned schedule.
*Monitor the site progress and lead the Electrical team subordinates to ensure proper project schedule, quality standards, electrical codes, and local regulations.
*Plans the execution of all the electrical related works and coordinate with other departments.
*Attending project review meeting with client, consultant, and subcontractors on regular basis.
*Resolve onsite MEP coordination issues to ensure smooth execution of all services.
*Plan the work and efficiently organize the site facilities to meet agreed deadlines.
*Report to Site Manager and update him regularly on-site issues.
*To comply with HSE management and promote awareness among the staff.
*Prepare as built drawings for electrical and fire alarm system.
*Prepare plan for testing and commissioning of MEP services in coordination with subcontractors.
*Attend kahramaa inspections for the electrical works completed.
*Coordinate to get approval for new power supply connection from local electrical authority.
*Submission of project hand over documents.
*Supervising the Installation works for First Fix, Second Fix and Third Fix as per
The Drawing for the following systems:
Access Control Systems, Master Clocks, RFID, WIFI, GSM Antenna, IP Telephone, Intercom Security, Public Information Display Screens (PIDS), Audio/visual System, Public Address Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Structure Cabling, CCTV and
*Day to Day Supervision of site works and Maintaining Quality of Workmanship with optimum resources and with all safety measures.
*Make the required steps for the materials requests; make sure it meets the approved submittal. Supervision and control of subcontractors. Action Notices and reviewing Inspection Request forms.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering is an integrated branch of engineering. This course deals with the technological aspects of electricity, especially the design and application of circuitry and electronic equipment. It also includes the concept of power generation and distribution, communication, and machine control.
