• To ensure that applicable project specifications and standard codes were correctly executed during piping fabrication and erection
• To ensure that the mechanical equipment is received, stored and handled as per requirement
• To understand and interpret all design, fabrication and erection drawings, and material specification including other engineering data. In addition, to arrange for clarification of any project drawing or specification which requires additional information for construction purpose
• To supervise fabrication and erection of pipe spools and pipe supports according to the latest issued construction drawings
• To review and analyze the Piping drawings such as PFD, P&ID, GA and Isometric Drawings
• To coordinate with design discipline and ensure conformance with project requirement
• To direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the processing of goods such as inspectors, machine setters and fabricators
• To plan and establish work schedules, assignments and processing sequences to meet goals
• To monitor and inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
• To supervise piping works to be performed by construction sub-contractor and to insure the compliance with the established construction activities
• To interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies
• To ensure the procedure of quality control and control of Non-conformance products
• To ensure the proper execution of inspection and test in accordance with the QC plan
• To prepare protocols and interacting with clients to get QC approval
• To maintain operations data such as time and cost records and prepare management reports
• To prepare preventive reports and remedial action in response with fabrication department
• To have knowledge and to observe health and safety working conditions rules and requirements
• To organize the preparation of piping systems for testing based on the test pack limits
• To attend final walk-through of completed piping systems and verify clearing of all punch list prior to mechanical completion
• To direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the processing of goods such as inspectors, machine setters, and fabricators

• Interpret with various material selection, fabrication, erection and testing of piping systems
• Understand the mandatory requirements, specific prohibitions and optional stipulations given in the code and other service restrictions on piping systems
• Strong capability to conduct and certify the pressure testing
• Understand principles of piping integrity assessments as per API and to make run-repair-replace decisions
TITLE: Modeling, Analyzing and Fabrication of Drill jig for Turbine Rotor Blade using CATIA and ANSYS INSTITUTE: Central Institute of Tool Design (CITD) at Balanagar, Hyderabad, A.P TEAM SIZE: 2 members SOFTWARE: CATIA V5R18 and ANSYS 12.1 ROLE: Designer and Developer PERIOD: 6 months DESCRIPTION: Jig is a work-holding device which holds supports and locates the work-piece and also guides the cutting tool for a specific operation. In order to drill the holes over I-section of the turbine rotor blade, we have modeled the drill jig by using CATIA V5R18.To find the stress over the jig we have done structural analysis by using ANSYS 12.1 by considering the pressures which are applied on it and came to know that the jig is under safety limit. SCOPE: The goal of our project is to design to reduce costs and ensure interchangeability which allows for rapid assembly and improving machining time in industries and automotives.
