Job Responsibilities at (Kudankulam Atomic Power Station)
•Plant Safety inspection (routine during normal operations & during maintenance)
•Recommending for implementation systematic and risk-free methods of performing jobs
to avoid accidents.
•Controlling and initiating permit to work system.
•Conducting HSE audits at the labor camps and closely following up with the
Management on the implementation of the audit recommendations.
•Supervising and controlling waste disposals and environment pollution. Planning and
taking necessary measures to secure environmental pollution protection for the company.
•Planning and conducting planned as well as unplanned emergency mock exercises.
•Inspects all safety equipment to ensure that they are in proper condition.
•Implementation of HSE policies.
•Preparing an independent assessment report on the causes of accident and submitting
Recommendations to avoid recurrence in future.
•Conducted surprise checks to ensure compliance.
•Inspecting of all kinds of Fire protection equipments
•Ensure periodic inspection & testing of fire protection system & PPE’s
•Ensure lift plan, safety plan, fire plan and other programs
•Organize safety promotional activities, safety awareness

Preparing and placing of safety posters and warning signs at appropriate locations.

Conducting Safety orientation to all new comers.
Compiling and Preparing weekly& monthly statistical reports
