Key responsibilities and duties:
• Greater Cairo Metro line 3 Phase 4 (June 2017: October 2020)
• Reviewing and approving the contractor's design documents and working drawings in conjunction with the structural and electrical drawings.
• Reviewing and approving the contractor's calculation notes for the HVAC ducts and Fire Fighting pipes.
• Reviewing and approving the test procedures for the various MEP systems and components either Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) or Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
• Supervising the execution of all MEP works (HVAC & Fire Fighting & Plumbing) and conducting routine site inspections emphasizing the completion of the works within the planned project schedule.
• Inspecting the quality of the materials and components associated with project requirements, signing Arrival on Site reports and preparing Non-Conformity Reports (NCR), whenever needed.
• Verifying the soundness of systems installations by witnessing the on-site tests as piped systems pressure test, air conditioning duct leakage, chillers tests, pump rooms tests, smoke fans…etc
• Reporting the work progress to the project manager.
• Following up the operation and maintenance and analyzing the faults during the EWP and guarantee period.
• Reviewing and approving the As-Built drawings and Operation & Maintenance manuals for Handing Over.
• Coordinating with consultant, evaluating his performance and disbursing his invoices accordingly.
• Reviewing the contractor's invoices and accrediting its payments.
• Validating the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) of HVAC VRF system at the manufacturer's (Mitsubishi) factory in South Korea.
• Taking over the duties of the consultant staring from preparing the tender documents from scratch encompassing Technical Specification both general and particular in addition to contract particular conditions and BOQ.
• Evaluating the participants in the prequalification stage against their previous work experience, long-term financial statements verifying their financial stability.
• Answering the successful participants' clarifications about tender requirements and specifications in the first stage of the tender.
• Evaluating the bidders' technical offers in stage 1 of the tender and preparing the Evaluation reports for both NAT Chairman and the financing bank (EBRD).
• Preparing the necessary amendments for updating the second stage procurement documents of the tender based on the clarifications elucidated and technical bids offered during stage 1.
• Evaluating the bidders' technical offers and assisting in the evaluation of the bidders' financial offers in stage 2 of the tender.
• Preparing the final evaluation reports for NAT chairman and the financing bank (EBRD).

Mechanical Power Engineering is my major, it is a major much focused on a variety of subjects encompassing stress analysis and mechanical design, fluid mechanics, Heat Transfer, power plants, Turbo Machines and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in addition to Hydraulics & Pneumatics and Internal Combustion Engines. Moreover, the curriculum of this Bachelor's degree has addressed other materials including Refrigeration and Air Conditioning besides control and electronics.
