RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the achievement of budgeted targets through sales and profit generation, Cash and inventory control, maintenance of Site Image and Company standards. Responsible for high focus and attention to detail with customer and Staf safety, Customer service, Staf presentation and overall Site presentation.
ADDITIONAL RESPONISIBILITIES
Principle Accountabilities: Customer Service: Responsible for efective day to day management by ensuring that outstanding customer service is maintained at all times by all staf in each facet of the Site operation. Dealing with all customer complaints in a professional, courteous, and timely manner and informing the Field Supervisor / Area Manager of any serious or ongoing complaints. Administrative Responsibilities:
Monitoring of all Shift reports and investigating any anomalies. Compiling of the daily Site financial report including disbursements and cash counting. Preparing cash for collection. Preparing and placing Stock orders and supervising their receipts. Develop and maintain Stock loss reports and action plans where required to address any anomalies. Maintaining all necessary product movement reports (transfers, Credits) as required Maintain Store correspondence / Communications books. Develop and maintain Staf rosters time sheets and personnel records as required and allowed for in budget. Merchandise Management: To ensure that suficient Stock of all products is available at all times to satisfy all customer demands. Ensure that all Stock lines are maintained in accordance with approved planograms as directed by Area Manager Ensure set guidelines and promotional programs are implemented in a timely and orderly fashion as directed by Head Ofice. By tacking sales data, monitor for slow moving products and make recommendations to Area Manager for new lines and the removal of slow moving lines. Supervise all Staf to ensure that all Stock including monthly promotional displays is merchandised professionally at all times. Ensure that the designated Stock re-ordering system is place in order to maximize the Store stock turns. Ensure all Stock deliveries and pickups are handled eficiently and in accordance with stock receiving policy. Ensure stock wastage and shrinkage is within the required levels. Financial Management: In conjunction with the Field Supervisor / Area Manager, analyze monthly profit and Sales reports for all areas of the business including convenience store, Forecourt, Carwash & Oil Change. Produce action plans to address any areas of financial performance, which require improvement. Analyze variation in Shift performance and make recommendations to the Field Supervisor / Area Manager to improve Staf utilization of all Site Staf within budgeted wage allowance. Monitor all expenses relating to the Site operation to ensure these remain within budget limits. Operations & Management: Ensure that all Site Staf is fully conversant with safety matters and procedures from the Site's operation. Ensure any short falls in the safety of the working environment are documented and reported to the Field Supervisor / Area Manager. Ensure that all the staf is fully conversant with the operation of equipment within the area responsibility. Ensure that the Company maintenance procedures are compiled with and documented records of such maintenance are professionally maintained. Ensure that all preventive maintenance as specified by equipment manufacturers and ENOC / EPPCO representatives are adhered by all Staf.
Staf Supervision: Responsible for the professional management, guidance and leadership of all Site Staf to ensure that outstanding levels of customer service are maintained at all times. Preparation of efective staf rosters within agreed budget for the entire Site operation. Set realistic individual and group performance targets and monitor achievement. Produce action plans to combat any shortfalls in individual or group achievement. Provide on the job guidance and training to existing staf to ensure the required standards are maintained. In conjunction within the RBU training department provides on the job training to new staf to ensure that they meet the required high standards. Handle minor disciplinary matters with staf professionally and in line with policy. Document and report more serious disciplinary matters the Field Supervisor / Area Manager for further action. Maintain a Site staf personnel file professionally and make recommendations to the Field Supervisor for future opportunity for individual advancement. Health, Safety, Security, Environment (HSSE): Strict adherence to company HSSE policy and procedure as defined.
