I worked for a month as an intern in a consultant company in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As an intern, I worked under the supervision of the head of engineering department (Maher Basal) on designing footings and setting up columns using ETABS computer software. I was responsible for reviewing several project reports by confirming that ACI building code requirements are met for structural concrete design. I have been to the site to observe setting up rebars for columns, beams, and slabs. Besides, mixing and pouring the concrete.
